Thanks Graham. I love doing this stuff. Very satisfying. Almost thinking about the next resto as I’m retiring in a couple of months and need to keep busy! Let us all now when you post a video. I use iMovie to edit which is very easy.

Top job mate, my take on the master cylinder was to fill it up & squeeze the lever til it starts to have pressure to to lever & leave it overnight, come back the next day and 9 times out of 10 , it's usually good to go

Once I cleaned out the holes correctly I still had to remove the hose from the master cylinder and pump until fluid started coming through then re attach and pump it down to the slave. I used the syringe method on the rear and that worked really well.

Another great insight Phil, I guess I'm doing mine in reverse I bought a blinged up commercial restorartion from 20 years ago, not only does it have the easiest parts to get which are mostly superseeded parts but they are tired out now so slowly returning to stock. I see you have the engine casing emblems on - are they vinyl or orginals? If originals; obvious question where on earth did you get them. Paint looks a great shade of blue btw!

Hi Dave. Thanks for the feedback. It has been fun and at times a challenge. I originally purchased the engine emblems from partzilla which were metal but when they turned up they were the wrong design with gold trim. I then ordered the vinyl ones which are OK but not perfect. Where they stick on is not completely flat and has a rim around the edge so I used gaffa tape to build up the middle so you don’t see the ridge so much. Pretty happy but yes, couldn’t find the proper metal ones.

BTW getting the blue right took a while but I’m very happy with it. Takes me back to the one I owned in the 80s.
