I like these little day trips into other retail shops. Especially when you hit the thrift stores.
One thing I miss from my childhood was going to record stores and spending hours leafing through the merch. I always left with something, and a lot of cool bands I had never heard of were introduced to me from the store owners.

As a teenager, I was a 'regular' in the music department, of our ur local Kmart & Musicland/Sam Goody stores. I too miss looking through the records, cassettes, & CD's. In later years, I frequented the Borders stores, to listen to music. I think I bought the Led Zeppelin Box Set on CD, from our local Borders store, just before they closed their doors. For me, there is something about real brick & mortar stores, that the virtual world just can't replace.

I really miss going into local, and mall record, and movie rental stores a few towns over from me with employees, and owners who got to know you by name who would clue you into the hidden gems so to speak, and I would always come out with at least one new CD, VHS, DVD, or video game with some of the money I had earned that week from my first job in high school, and because of that it led to me expanding my music, movie, anime and video game scope I would of otherwise not have gotten living in such a small town.

Wow! I really respect and appreciate the concern about about the quality of the content.. So many successful TH-cam TH-cam creators build an audience and get lazy by by putting out useless or twist or redundant videos it was just for the views or the sponsorship. Thanks for always keeping your channel Fluid and interesting!✌

definitely fun to see what random/weird CDs you guys got... my wife was kinda half-watching in the background and SHE was wondering if Amy Jo Johnson had her own CD out or not (or if it was just part of the felicity thing, lol) looking forward to the new videos when they come out, though!

That was quite a bit of fun actually, it made for a surprisingly good placeholder video. Also, the best part of that horrible Robin Hood movie was Alan Rickman chewing all the scenery as the Sheriff. "I'll cut his heart out WITH A SPOON!!!"

I looked it up because I was curious. The "Dawn" doll was a fashion doll made between 1970 and 1973. Sales of the doll even outsold Barbie sales for a while, according to Google. The production only stopped of them because the "Topper" company went out of business in 1973. They had some "reintroduced reproductions" by 2 companies, one in 2000 and the other in 2004 as commemorative editions. Google also says they are counted as collector's items. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dawn_doll

Also, as far as gap fill content, you do you. Whatever works for you, I'll watch. If little filler videos are easy to do, then cool. If they'd only prove to be more of a burden on your time, then don't! Lol we will all be here whenever you do post.

Thank You for considering us into your schedule. So many TH-camrs and their subscribers enable a "you do you" ideology and the result is lackluster and /or lack of videos. I agree with doing more videos like this, and Mark definitely got the better CD's.

I have bought a number of their LP grab bags in the past. Have occasionally found some stuff worth quite a bit of money. Don't know if it was a surprise, or if they just didn't know what they were putting in them. Think the rarest one was Shiloh, which was Don Henley's pre-Eagles band.

I think 🤔 😕 😅 I remember that Cherl Bentene was a member of the group of
4 singers known as Manhattan Transfer,
of which I have some varied tunes.
When I worked at Fuji Film 🎥 in New
York about 30 years ago, in accounting,
I was showing a CD of Manhattan Transfer
at work, and the Accounting Manager said
he had her as a neighbor. Ray

I'm going to make a helpful suggestion, speaking as another person who buys a lot of CDs and DVDs at Zia: get yourself a bunch of those little snap-off knives to cut off tape or price stickers that hold the cases closed. They're hella cheap at the checkout counter of any Harbor Freight store, which I believe has a location just two doors up from the Zia you visited in this video.

I love your videos and a lot of the stuff you cover brings back a lot of memories for me. I have an idea for one of your up coming videos and that is do one on the most creepiest places you have discovered. Halloween is coming up and a creepy or spooky episode from you would really be cool considering it is spooky season. It would also be a good idea to do one episode Christmas based since that is coming up in a few months. Either way I just love your content.

Hey man it's all good, I know how being busy at work can be( nearly 2 weeks later I'm still trying to access damage after my town's(the building I'm in at work is owned by the town itself) maintenance goons nearly blew up my building after hitting cable, and power lines with a backhoe trying to do landscape, and popping the power meter). So please feel free to take as much time as you need to get bigger videos out, and if you want to sprinkle smaller videos like this in from time to time to fill the gaps it's all good by me.
