If someone from Acura is watching this, they would be so proud of looking at all the Acura things in this garage ~~ No one appreciates Acura quite like Tyson 👏👏
I always love your videos and browsing your channel. I like to consider myself to be an Acura loyalist but I'm nowhere on your level. I really admire the passion. Hope to meet you at an event in SoCal sometime.
Your commitment to your collection of all things Acura (and Honda) is truly impressive. Obviously a labor of love! Side-note: I don’t think of my TLX as a big car, but it’s funny how massive the TLX looks when parked beside your 90’s Acuras!!
What a nice setup and perfect space (maybe shrine is a better word). I just bought an 05 S2K from Surprise AZ, not too far from you, and am waiting to get it shipped to me in Virginia. I have a bunch of leftover memorabilia from when I owned 05 and 08 S2Ks back in the day, and plan to setup a nice display in my garage. I can only aspire to make it as nice as your space!
Looking good bud! Such a great collection! I'm wondering if that single tattoo will turn into a full sleeve of cars?? Need to get back for another visit soon.
My '86 is currently at the mechanic getting an a/c compressor, but I have big plans for it! Acura HQ also has an '86, and theirs is inside the Collection Hall in LA.
Awesome car collection and memorabilia. Do you know where a could find de Jay Leno video of your GSR, there one video on your channel but the one from Jay Leno garage.
@@justin250r it’s season 7 episode 6 on CBNC but I do have a copy of it on google drive if you want to email me. My address is in my “About” page on my channel
Hey Tyson, love the garage, I have the same passion for Honda/Acura but maybe only 25% of the garage. There is an item I've been trying to find, maybe you'll have better luck. It's a vtec demonstration tool. I can send you the link to the video I saw it in if your interested.
I worked for Honda back in the 1990's and I vaguely recall a such tool. A clear plastic see through box with a handle that you could turn to see the valves going going up and down on the cam lobes and there was a pin that could be locked in order to change the cam profile. It was part of the campaign for 'VTEC Two Engines In One'.
Tyson! I saw what looks to be a '90 Legend L that needs some love close to where I live... and am thinking about knocking on the owners door and making an offer...! are parts readily available? I ask as I also have an '89 Audi 200 avant and that is a nightmare for parts locating...!
@@brandonbriscoe4712 first Gen Legends aren’t too bad. I’m restoring a 1986 and I’ve been able to find what I’ve needed, either OEM, used, aftermarket, or reproduction. Worth a shot!
I have a bunch of Honda dealer stuff from ruffly 2005 -2010, collectible stuff. At this point I'd just like the extra space. If interested, I can email pics and deliver as I'd like to see your collection of cars and other items.
I'm curious, what're your thoughts towards Honda going away from manuals? Yeah you got the Type R/Type S and SI but the manuals in the non performance vehilcs. I miss the days of the TSX/TL 6 spd.
I also like to collect dealer plates. Still have my Infiniti of Gwinnett license plate frame from 2005 when I got my '06 G35 sedan lol. Do you have a PO box? I'd like to send my Rick Case Acura dealer plate.
So here's a question. I notice you have the cars tightly spaced, how do get them consistently apart without damage? Are you frequently jumping in & out while parking to check or do you have some kind of jig you place between them so you just inch up and touch it with the bumper and an app signals you to stop?
I've had a really good record with no damage, luckily. The cars vary in length so the space between them can also vary. I did one time swipe one of the walls in my Prelude 4WS but the black molding/rub strip on the bumper did its job perfectly.
16:59. Please remove that Walser plate. If you know their practices you wouldnt want that there. I know, I worked at a Walser dealership in the MidWest and know 1st hand the "Walser Way".
Also there are videos (usually an entire playlist/series) about every car sitting in that garage already. Anyone who is a regular subscriber to my channel has probably already seen them. Anyway sorry you were disappointed. Have a great night.
Tyson, you are THE Acura enthusiast! I lived in Phoenix in 2020 and would love to have checked out the garage in person! This will suffice. :)
Haha if you're ever back here let me know!
