If Warhammer total war has taught us anything then it is that diversity is bad. 😅
Given that bolt throwers were kind of useless thorek making them useful is good
The buff stacking gets really insane near the end game. Saw Turin getting around 160 ranged weapon strength on those bad boys. Was a treat watching them melt everything in sight.

My Skaven armies LOVE diversity, they usually have 3 different types of Skaven Weapon teams, plus some arty.
@@TheSakurambou Yeah, I can't wait to play around with the character runes and banner runes and stuff and see what ridiculous combinations could be made. I would think some like the penetration or explosive rounds runes on Organ Guns would be particularly nasty :D
After learning about this guy and how he treats the people under him i am surprised that his archenemy is not the HR department.

Ah back in mah day we didn't 'ave no fucken H-R department? Y'kno what we 'ad? We had a fucken hammer, and when the lil' beardlings got cranky we'd start chasin' em around and whacking the bastards with it, kept em from going soft and instilled the virtue of regular exercise. *cracks knuckles* Now mr.HR person, when's the last time ye went for a run?

In my experience, HR typically treats employees as dismissively as they can.

How many fucking "Grim" is in this universe? I know we couldn't have The Grim and the Grom because of Volkmar, but now this too?
Kragg the Grim deserves his own DLC. There seems to be some new room at tier 5 for the Dawi buildings now so it seems some grudges will be settled in game 3.

For doing a video on the Dawi, a grudge has been struck from the book.
Honestly the ”Everything was great until BLANK showed up" line fits the dwarves perfectly until you remember that everything started because of those damn elves. If it weren't for them tree huggers everything would have been fine.
You'd think he'd be more appreciative of iron drakes as nothing's better than burning those blasted tree hippies, perhaps we burn down that oak of ages and teach them what grudges feel like

Honestly i think most of our problems in Warhammer and 40K can be traced back to the Elves (Or Eldar).

Thorek actually has me interested in trying out the dwarves properly for once. But also left me wishing that we got a proper engineering focused dwarf lord.
I'm really hoping that a cross-game lord pack pitting Dwarfs against Chaos Dwarfs comes along in game 3, centered around vertically-challenged engineers duking it out with SCIENCE.
Grim Burloksson or Malakai Makaisson would be fun! Thunderbarges (armoured zeppelins), Goblin-hewing axe throwing machines, maybe even rune golems! Although really rune golems might fit more with Thorek, I think they were more rune magic than science.
Ya, a cross-game DLC in opposition to the chaos dwarf is pretty much exactly what I want. It'd be fitting, cause it'll be machine vs sorcery basically.
Grim Burlocksson was the first Dwarf on my mind for this too. His character seems more than interesting enough, and getting to see units armed with grudge rakers would be awesome.
@@garethharold3600 I'd be really into seeing Burloksson as the lord and Malakai as the hero so that we'd get a pure engineering lord and a slayer-engineer hybrid hero.
@@darthralin Yeah, perhaps the Goblin Hewer could be a "mount" unlockable for Malakai. On table top they had to be taken together

Honestly, at this point there are so many LLs that the whole world map needs to be made bigger so that they don't step on each others' toes. Lustriabowl is just the most egregious example.
I think he's only in Lustria in Eye of the Vortex, and takes over Karak Zorn in Mortal Empires

Oh God, Kazador Dragon-Slayer has a unique model? Awesome. One of my best dwarf campaigns, that absolute madlad turned a f-king orc on dwarf slaughter into a win, if only by a slim margin, as he soloed 7 regiments of goblin spears and broke them all one by one. It was “when the Doom music kicks in” personified and I immediately gave him the more worthy name of Kazador DOOM-Slayer in honor of that day.
This was immediately after confederating with him, btw, so he was level 2 and had NO equipment or follower upgrades at that point.
Looking at dawi skill lines, I can't help but think someone at CA just doesn't like short people.

@@DiZtheJedi No dude, he wasn't him. The Queen of the Silver Dephts was lost at least 2 thousands years before Belegar was born, check loremaster of sotek video about it. His clan used to rule the city, he and his wife took it back, at least the upper part.
