you can use an if chip combined with a 30hz event receiver to achieve the same result. the condition of the if chip should be the boolean port that replaces primary action held

Get an event receiver out, configure it and set the event to update 30hz. Now get an if chip out and wire the orange pin on the update 30hz to the if chip. Wire the red port on the trigger handle to the red port on the if chip. Where ever I use the primary action held just use the “then” port on the if chip. That will work

Some of the chips were missing for me and I couldn't wire some chips, there a way to fix this?
make sure you have beta content turned on. ive shown how to do so in the beginning of the video. as for the wiring issue i cant think of anything besides maybe you were wiring things to a different port.

they updated the primary action held to a bool, which means you cant wire it directly to an if chip.

no, to use the primary action is held you need to wire it to an if chip along side a event receiver 30hrz

My raycast chip isn’t tracking any Rec Room Object’s or Player’s at all, help.
did you make sure to put the get position and get forward vector into the right ports? if so, check and see if you enabled ignore players and objects by configuring the chip.
Forgot to say, but make sure your max distance on the port it higher than 0. If it is 0 then it won’t detect anything.
My float is 0.123223432???

Good one, Change the Object variable and replace it with a Player Variable, then do the same thing as he did to the object variable, also configure the piston to ignore objects, replace the Rec Room object tag chip with a get local player and then do the exact thing.

Yo, good thing that someone figured it out too. I made my own Gravity/Phys gun like a month ago using paintball pistol and button (You can check it out on my channel).
But thank to you I learned some new tricks. Great job and keep it up! 👍
P.S. btw maybe you know how to reduce heat when an object in authority of other player?
