Good job. I prefer oil to grease on motor spindle bearings.

Hello. I have the same player, the speed is OK, the strobe lights but does not blink. Now the strobe doesn't light up at all. However, the player works and you can listen at a stable speed. why did the strobe go out? can you tell me where the problem is? Thank you.

I would probably remove the thick rubber mat when weighing the stylus/tonearm. I think it would be more accurate.

The magnet is on the copper way... You measured from post to magnet and then not from the inside of the bearing to the copper way but from the outside... So you lost the thickness of the bearing...

would've been nice for us to see the ESR tests before you determined the faulty caps....

3 in 1 oil is better than grease for the spindle bearing. Otherwise great video

I got one with some issues. Motor is making a "huum" when starts and than stops and sometimes those "hums" seens comming from speakers also. Always starting the motor. You can listen this hum for just a while when change speed.
Any ideia what could be? Bad motor?Caps?

First place I would look is the ground connection, sometimes the wire breaks internally making an intermittent fault. Also make sure the audio cables arent at issue, hook everything up and try moving around the ground and audito cables, if it makes a difference you may need the audio cables replaced. Also make sure the cartridge is tight in the tonearm, anything else would likely be on the inside somewhere.

Check for proper grounding wire between the TT and amplifier. If it's broken or missing there could be hum

hy travis. i identify better some problems.@@TrevorsBench ithis hum isnt really comingo from speaker it came eighter from motor or transformer. Got some "buzz" comingo from speaker but it was from start switch. i actually find another TurnTuble and blend both together to make work. Now i have one fully sperational and other with the old issues. I had never more tried to fix it. But i got some new Ci's to test. Maybe one day i fix it. Here in brazil its super rare and people really pays lots on this turntable.
