Just wanted to ask a question regarding the po456 code. My mkx has that code now so I will replace the valve but also at the same time my ac vent on the passenger side blows hot air. Is the bad valve causing the passenger side vent to not switch to cool air
my wife has this car and we have to reset the damper all the time. hit the power and defrost button at the same time. it takes several time to get it to reset. you will see the lights in the floor board change colors when it actually works. it can take up to 10 times trying it. this will reset the hvac system and fix the issue.
@@JUSTTRYITDIY I'm not sure. i assume a head unit issue. it had other issues and i changed the bezel out and those went away. it would turn the volume down for no reason. that problem is gone.
I'm getting a P0455 code (large leak) on my '13 MKX, could replacing the purge valve be the fix? I previously cleared the code and sealed the fuel inlet with HVAC foil tape but the code came back. Pretty sure my leak is not with the fuel inlet. Any ideas?
looks like the 2 things with the P0455 code is the gas cap of the canister purge valve. if you have ruled out the gas cap then I would go for the purge valve next
My noticed when I started my car this morning, had a little “shake”. Car is on but it’s “shake slightly”. Also light engine is on. Should I take to Auto zone to get it checked?

To release the hose from the valve just push on the tab on the opposite side you stuck the pick in and it pops right off.
Is this the same for a 2018 MKZ? I’m trying to replace that part but I can’t find exactly where it is.

sounds like the mixing damper is not working on the passenger side. I have a video showing the drivers side. it would be similar on the passenger side

yes for sure. could be a misfire
How do I get to the fuel pump?
I think there is an access under the back seat drivers side
