Our 2014 2.0 MKZ started farting while my wife was in it.we’ve foot a code for new oxygen sensor that came in today.thanks for the video to stop my wife from worrying on her ride home
Thank you so much I fixed my car today after I got the part I paid $33 for It. fixed it myself in five minutes thank you so much my car runs great now no more problems at the gas station!

My 2014 four-cylinder with eco-B, sort of has a similar issues. It’s only if I’m driving on the freeway and I gas it and it sputers or as soon as I fill up the gas tank it idles rough and shut off after the second or third time I start it back up, everything‘s fine. Could this be in relation to the problem you repaired here? I know I’m late on asking I just found your video 😬😬😬

Then the car started to shake HARD! Then it cut off. 1st time this has ever happened. Right after that, my light came on. Did u experience any shaking of the car b4 the light came on??
Jp J the Ford Parts website may help. If you enter your VIN, you should be able to find the part on their website. It also typically has a diagram with the location. That would help determine where it is on your make/model/year/engine.

I have a 2016 MKZ hybrid that threw this code and I'm going to try to replace it now. That actually the purge solenoid you replaced.
Just bought 2017 mkz left dealership , drove 2 blocks and engine light comes on. Wish me luck , in Fl but from MA , great vid

I have an 2015 ecoboost turbocharged and the evac part is an entire hoses and a solenoid. A pain to install.
Did you end up getting it fixed?

I didn’t notice a change in performance. But, my leak was small. If you have a larger leak, then you may see issues like that.

I got the 1450 code on a 2015 mkz it’s a 2.0
