There are tools to stop and start funding for things in government. It's called Congress. In March Congress will need to vote for budgeting issues and change funding. Congress doesn't even need to wait until then. They can vote for different spending, they can stop appropriated funds which is what Musk is trying to do. Republicans have the majority in both houses.
Trump and Musk do not want people to see the truth. They want to spread baseless accusations. They want to overthrow the constitution.

you don't understand the law, the judge isn't greater than the President. The President is doing his job as Chief Executive Officer. It's separate powers. USAID and The Treasury Department report to the President, not to a Judge. The President has to be able to do his job of running the country. No laws have been violated...there's not a signal law mentioned in the judges order to justify what he's doing in the ruling. If you say he didn't give congress 30 days notice, I'd say, that that law that congress passed for 30 days notice is unconstitutional. Congress doesn't run the Treasury or USAID

Anyone who argues outside auditing of government departments certainly deserves a higher level of scrutiny and explanation in my opinion.

The GAO, (Government Accountability Office) spends about one billion per year investigating, auditing, etc. for Congress. They are also unelected. This judge's ruling, extended to the GAO, would neuter them. Musk is right...again.
A TRO by the judge is not in and of itself a big deal. Delaying things for three days will not make a difference. However, if he/she tries to make the order permanent, then THAT would be a real problem.

Lots of these comments below are calling the judge corrupt, etc. I think this is a judge that was appointed by President Trump so I'm wondering if Pres Trump appreciates Musk calling out this judge as corrupt and "should be impeached" or if the two of them spoke about this and had the same thoughts?!?!
