Kshmr released his much awaited album called Karam featuring a star studded line up with the likes of Krsna, Raftaar, Talha Anjum, Yashraj, Yungsta, Karan Kanchan, Hanumanking and more. This is my review and interpretation of the whole project

Krsna's verses in ZAZ were pretty good but the hook was not that good, atleast for me.
Btw, Harjas' track BIG also has a very catchy hook.

The background music in the video is somewhat similar to (or inspired by) the resident evil theme by Marylin Manson. Sounds cool.
Special shout-out to Yashraj for absolutely killing it on all three tracks he was featured on (his feature run has been insane this year man,those tracks with Talal are also a treat)
The pacing & the interludes really made the listening process much better than it is for most albums ive heard this year (KSHMR 🐐)
Yungsta,Talha (even with those 16 bars),$,SM & Prophecy had the best features on the album [i personally dont like Raja Kumari but her hooks were sexy af)

If krsna had written his verses as per the theme of the album, it would have sounded really amazing but still as a solo track it is very nice just as his regular tracks, the only problem is with the hook part, I just wanna trim it man.

I agree the album is brilliant and not to forget initially there was 2 more songs which got cancelled so surely there were some compromises with the placements. But nothing mood breaking , one of the best albums in dhh.

Mann, I've heard the album couple of times right after it's release and got the story to but, after this video, I'm noticing the details.❤ gave more flavours to it now.
Bro wth, Zero after zero is the most relatable track to the theme with the interlude.
KRSNA just delivered the forward conversation with the club manager in his track for removing his friend from the club last night. That's why he was flexing his money ofc lead to the hook by Taley Riley for theme and disrespectful in his track.

That narrator voice at the end of 1st and last interlude is of Manthra. You should definitely listen to his podcasts like Bhaskar Bose, Mr.X, Kahaniyan ka Mantra. That person's voice and voice modulation is no less than a gem😍 Kshmr has truly picked the best of all in everything starting from artists to little details❤
Majority Dhh audience skipped Maula track in album just bcz of Munawar faruqui

'Khoya sab' ft yunsta is easily The best song , the writing and hook ❤. Amazing 🙌 . It also perfectly fits with the story .
Finally the transitions are getting appreciated.

Like about placement i could not have think in this much details but yeah retention was little low of munawar's song and khoya sab was the one of the best track of you listen after that interlude....... People may wonder about the interludes...but if u go with kshmr's discography...u'll see that he even tells a story in ep and album...lion accross the field and harmonica Andromeda...listeners from those album predicted it long ago

This whole album felt like a movie experience! You were spot-on about those intricate details that made it stand out. Personally, the beat from the track ‘Enemies’ is my favourite 🫡. Overall, the album truly lives up to its name and brings pleasure to the ears, even for those not deeply into hip hop music.♥️🎧

This album was great and the less prominent artists shined more than the big ones in this album because they contributed a whole lot more towards the vision of Karam. Yashraj nailed all 3 songs, Yungi gave the best track of the album, Nazz fucking ate the beat and HMK was sounding so fucking dope. What an album 😮

Though there were many songs I wouldn’t listen to again in the album but I really appreciated everything they did, especially with the story and all the interludes. I appreciate the whole concept of it because I haven’t mostly seen desi/hiphop albums do this and they mostly don’t have a concept, so really appreciate KSHMR for this. Overall the songs for me were 6/10 but the concept is a 10/10.

Hath varthi was perfectly placed as plot wise, Hero is portraying his love for this woman by saying to her brother that theres no point in beating your sister as shes already in love with me which fits well with the interlude because his brother was seeming off and aggressive when he saw his sister with our protagonist.

A huge slap for toxic krsna fans who are claiming zero after zero is the best song of the album. Honestly I didn't liked the zero after zero as much as I would have loved it....
And khoya sab was really best song of whole album.....
I agree with rohan hath varthi song may have come up in order but not godfather. It is placed right after upar hi upar. I also think B.I.G symbolises how the hero has achieved greater heights and now become calm in life after gangster. If it would have been placed after godfather it would have more significance in story line.
