I Loooooove my oven! I cook a lot! I have used the speed roast to make crispy baked chicken wings fast (I start w room temp wings), also used for whole red snapper.... Use convection for most things. Also use the speed broil a lot but you better keep an eye on what your cooking.
I love my LG range more every time I use it. I keep the owner's manual close by so I will use it correctly. My old GE had steam clean. That temperature really cleaned. My LG similar "easy clean"is timid by comparison. I will try the old GE time and temp. What could it hurt?
I have a nee LG. Just tried the Convection. I don't hear the fan? Tried a cake yesterday on Bake.. took a really long time to cook. Middle stayed soggy. Edges brown.

Bought 3 LG appliances on Aug 31 2023. We had a Kitchen Aid convection oven before. It was great, but local dealer didn't have any in stock. The LG convection feature is no where near as good as the Kitchen Aid. On the Kitchen Aid, the convection fan ran constantly. On the LG, at temps 320 and 325, once oven reachs temp it cycles the fan off and on every 15-30 seconds. At temps above 325, the LG runs constantly, but not at those lower temps. Very disatisfied with this product. With the Kitchen Aid, we could cook 3 cookie racks at the same time, and there would be a little difference between the bottom rack and top rack, but not much. With the LG there is room for 3 cookies racks, but the difference between the top and bottom rack is too much. Have to pull the top rack out and put the bottom rack up top to finish cooking. And yes I was on convection bake not convection roast. The Kitchen Aid also had one more convection option than the LG. It had the "Convection Broil" option that the new LG doesn't have. I would not recommend the LG product to anyone. The steam clean on my oven only cleans very mild spills. Online complaints said it's not very good, ad my sister-in-law said it was useless also: She was right. I also have the regular High temp clean, which I haven't used yet, but hope it works better than the steam clean. In the kitchen aid the "High temp Clean" worked very well. After it was done, there was nothing in the oven, but dust to vacuum out. Again... I am very disappointed in this product. Wouldn't recomment this to anyone.
Our new LG oven just will not brown the bottom of our food. The top will burn but the bottom will be doughy, ie.( Pizza, biscuits, pies etc.) please help

I just bought this stove and my daughter baked a frozen pizza and it didn’t cook on the bottom. A few days later I baked store bought biscuits and had the same issue, I didn’t use convection setting. Now I’m afraid to bake cakes ! I can’t find my manual
I turned up the temp a bit more for some things. Like instead of 400 I use 425. Took a few test runs. I'm happy so far but I haven't finished my bread yet today. Feeling confident I will be happy with that too.
There is an option on my oven to adjust the temperature in "Settings" if you think the internal oven temp is too low. I put an oven thermometer inside the oven and it took a long time to come up to temp even when the beeper went off saying it had reached temp. After that I adjusted the settings up 7 degrees. I wonder if that has to do with the bottom element being hidden on this oven. If you are going to test with the thermometer, keep checking the thermometer in 10 minutes increments after the oven says it has reached temp. Then if it doesn't reach the temp you have set, adjust the "Setting" to compensate. We don't do breads/loaves on convection bake, because the top will burn before the bottom cooks. Also with the LG 2 or 3 rack cooking isn't as even. Not a very good product. Would love to get my money back and order a Kitchen Aid if they still make them.
Hi, There! If your LG range has convection capabilities, it may have a feature called "Convection Auto Conversion" enabled by default. This feature automatically reduces the entered temperature by 25°F for convection cooking modes. So if you enter 400°F, the oven may display and heat to 375°F instead. To disable this feature if you want to bake at the exact temperature you enter: 1. Press and hold the "Start Time" button for 3 seconds. 2. Press "Start Time" repeatedly until "Auto" appears on the display. 3. Use the +/- buttons to disable the feature. 4. Press "Start" to confirm the change. If you find that your oven consistently under or overcooks food at the set temperature, you may need to adjust its calibration. LG allows you to adjust the oven temperature by up to 35°F higher or lower. Consult your user manual for specific instructions on how to perform this adjustment for your model. Remember that proper rack positioning and preheating are important for achieving the best baking results. Always refer to your recipe and the oven's user manual for specific guidance on baking times and temperatures. If at any time you need additional support, please feel free to send us a private message on social media. ^James.
Regular baking (no convection baking) works fine on 1 rack backing. But convection baking on the LG is a realy disappointment. They should stop offering the convection baking if they can't come up with a system that works. I got ripped off

I wonder if anyone that has an LG oven, can test it at 320 and then 325 to see if fan turns off and on once reaching the 320 or 325, and then cycles on/off constantly at short intervals. It would help me. I have contacted LG and they repeat what is in the manual: "That the fan can turn off occasionally while baking. But this sounds like an excuse for every time the fan doesn't work when it should. And why does it just do this ad those 2 lower temps, but runs constantly at higher temps. I have a LG LREL6325D electric kitchen range.
I like the shot at 1:05 where the hand comes in from the left and then comes in from the right. TRANSPORTERS ARE REAL!

By setting the bake key and temp will it not get so hot

I love my oven!
What about the Convection Roast option? What does that do?
Alex L I need to know this also
0:56 so does explain why it takes 2 hours to cook a loaf of banana bread when it should only take 30 minutes
