As if it really needs to be said again, the party is called "The Scottish National Party". Not "The Scottish Nationalists". The SNP have expressed clearly on several occasions their wish to not be misnamed in this fashion. It's a deliberate attempt to colour the views of the party by associating them with negative connotations of historical nationalism movements. I expect it from the opposing parties, but I'd expect more respect and even-handedness from the deputy speaker! You don't hear her referring to the Conservatives as "The English Oligarchy".

That was it, he didn’t praise her for it, didn’t even say she succeeded. Why are those on the Left so keen to swallow whatever nonsense & propaganda the Torygraph is spewing?!? It’s so puerile, the Tory client media doesn’t want the country moving to the Left, even the v centrist cusp of the Left, so why believe a word they say about the leader that wants to do that? The SNP can afford to be a protest party in Westminster and can get away with saying what they want. The SNP are in no danger of having to represent the UK internationally so can afford to protest like this. (Just do the maths. They can only get 59 seats maximum. In a First past the post system it is only a two party system really.)
The SNP can do things locally in Scotland and act like this in Westminster but as long as they are part of the UK in FPTP they will only be a minority group in UK parliament that the government can ignore.
Even if the worst Tory polls are accurate and they only get 77 seats they still outnumber all of Scotland.
The SNP will have to win big in England to actually follow through in UK/Westminster politics.

What was the % of indigenous people in those days? Now it is far less, the trade unions knew in the 70s that joining the EU was have a disastrous impact on the British workforce and our standard of living, that's why Tony Benn and the trade unions were against joining the EU. We embraced the Windrush generation after WW2, we did require help in those days to rebuild our country and infrastructure, so many men died in the wars. However, today, those same people would be against mass immigration because they could see what we can see, we are being replaced with foreign nationals. Now only 70% of the people that live in the UK are indigenous to it and that is shrinking fast.

If you spent a minute of your life thinking for yourself you would have found this out. It's a simple Google to realise we ain't facing mass migration, we are facing regular ass migration. They do this weird sleight of hand acting like it's either mass immigration or nothing. But as I said, it's not. For a start how about NOT importing entire cities worth of people in every single year (& that's just the documented people) without even the basic infrastructure in place, without all of our own people taken care of, and without any incentives or prompting for them to integrate into British culture? We can work from there maybe.
If you can prove you'd be an asset to the country and fully integrate, nobody really has a problem with that. Which, ironically, is the integration most Leftists experience (considering most are from suburbia and probably had a mate or two at Uni that was an immigrant). Sure you can point to a very, very small percentage of actual Nazis, but their numbers are so exceedingly small and probably counted in the hundreds at best so it's not worth caring about.

So if you want a work visa, and an entry-level role is below the new £38.6K (of which there are many) you're now out of options, because of this ridiculous new move from the government! I'm shocked by the jump from £18.6K to £36.6K per year. That's for spousal visas, work visas and more, unless exempt. its just a numbers matter. if you allowed unlimited free migration from say, india and china, simply due to how many people they have, you could have 10s of millions of people migrating who even have careers and wages BETTER than the uk average (assuming theyd even want to come here), but thats still not good.

the problem is ultimately this is a matter of national identity and its ties with race and ethnicity. you can say immigrants assimilate and become true brits, and i fully agree, but eventually the country starts to change, and thats only natural. euro colonists to america didnt assimilate into amerindians, and even the ones in south america who often took up the local language, still dressed and ate differently, had different values, a different religion, etc. At what point does it become a different country?

Now that is human rights in Action, and we are not staying in a polical Union with England as you now threaten to take our human rights away by leaving the ECHR.

Well in my opinion if this is how they behave, procrastination beyond belief, no action, no respect for each other let alone the public it’s a failed system! To gain respect you have to give, to hear you have to listen, two basic tools which this house does not possess. Who pays for this in money and feels the consequences the taxpayers.
