Anna Korogodina, MD, a PGY-2 from Russia, offers a few of her favorite activities to seek out in the Bronx, and reflects on how the challenges faced during COVID-19 empowered her to take responsibility and become a better doctor, and the heroic, collaborative effort that she witnessed from nurses and colleagues throughout the hospital.
This video was created as part of a series in which current residents openly share their experiences in the Wakefield Internal Medicine Residency Program at Montefiore Einstein.. The goal of the series is for prospective residents who could not visit campus during the COVID-19 pandemic to get a true sense of whether or not the program is a good fit in terms of academics, structure, and mission.
