The man I am with now is very much younger than I am and in his 30's. He says what drew him to me initially was that I am older; that I seemed confident and independent along with soft and experienced. He likes the idea that I do not "need" to be in a relationship and also that I see past his age as well.
I have dated two, one 8 years younger and one 7 years younger. I don’t look my age. They were interested in my independence but I do think they were looking for someone who wasn’t demanding and wasn’t after their resources or kids. I'm just tired of the world of social media where some people jump ship when things aren't perfect or always catered to them. Thank you for uploading this segment on younger men and older women. I'm 62 and my guy is 36. Initially, I felt uncomfortable when we first met due to our age differences. To him, it's no big deal. We have so much in common it's incredible to me. He's been very patient with me and is extremely gentle. Wow! Simply amazing. It doesn't hurt that he's drop dead gorgeous, girls. "Older woman" is not 3 years younger Michelle. "Older woman" is not the woman who is your age or a couple years older. The "older woman" is woman who is 10 or more years older than man.
It can also be that the younger person is looking for someone with money. When you see really young women with older men would say it's mainly because the man is wealthy and vice versa ..older women and really young men... not those several years younger.
Even though age is not indicative of maturity, the things you expressed regarding older woman and younger men are not necessarily true from a practical point of view, or at least rarely. While there are some cases of May December relationships in which the woman is the older one that have gone on to last, that is more often than not the exception and not the rule. But when you're with someone who's on a different wavelength as yourself, because somethings only come by with time (more often than not you as an older woman have qualities that he isn't even mature enough to recognize the value of) As per Barack and Michelle Obama, they shouldn't even be used as examples in this case, three years is like someone your age. Truth is as much as you may want to romanticize relationships with significant age differences, age does matter, it's not the only thing that matters but it does. My whole thing about dating a younger man is after sex what are we gonna talk about, more than likely we do not have any common experiences, failures, downfalls, struggles, personal growth we've overcame to relate to, and if it's primarily sex and physicality that a relationship is based on, after a while it wears off, then what?

I am known as a strong independent woman and I attract younger men, but I realized most of them won't love me if I wasn't successful. They want to borrow my energy. We live apart but see each other at least once a wk. I make no plans for the future because of my age.

Here is the truth. If you meet someone and there is a connection, it shouldn't matter weather your older or younger. Men want to be shown they are loved, appreciated, and respected. If their woman is too busy, lazy, or ungrateful to show him that; then he'll find someone who does. Listen up ladies! I know we are always trying to balance our responsibilities (kids, house work, school, relationship, work, etc.), but at the end of the day we need to make time to say or even better "show" our partner how much he is appreciated and loved instead of taking our frustration out on him.

Men have to help to and be their and support her and recognise her need for a identity not a slave to be at his beck and call, this is what happened to me. I am now with a much younger white man, who treats me like a queen, and yes I do everything for him and get a lot of love in return, my ex never worked, and went into business for himself to many times and lost more money than he made, my partner now works hard and sticks to his job, and will get better pay slowly, me i set up paying off the bills so his money goes further, so your comment is a bit one sided, and seeing your name you are from the middle east, well all men from that side of the world like my ex have been bought up to think they are GOD and they can treat woman how they like, this is not acceptable today and we are not 'property' either as he would call me time and time again SICK. A woman deserves to be treated with love, respect and appreciation even more so because women end up doing most of, if not all, of the cooking , cleaning , child care , shopping etc. A woman should be appreciated for all those services provided. I’m 64 year old woman. I do Taichi every morning for 2 hours. By 4 in the afternoon I’m at my pole dance 💃 class, and dance for 2 hours. And after that I go to the 24 hour gym and work out 🏋️♀️ for at least 3 hours. This I do 6 days a week. Then sometimes hiking 🥾 even at night. My most fulfilling relationship Is with a 22 year old guy. He brings out the kid in me. I completely is able to express my child like personality. Yes, I have a lot of endurance and stamina 😀.

The man I am with now is very much younger than I am and in his 30's. He says what drew him to me initially was that I am older; that I seemed confident and independent along with soft and experienced. I have dated two, one 8 years younger and one 7 years younger. I don’t look my age. They were interested in my independence but I do think they were looking for someone who wasn’t demanding and wasn’t after their resources or kids. I'm just tired of the world of social media where some people jump ship when things aren't perfect or always catered to them. That's not everybody obviously but it's become more common over the years. I'm more frustrated with how social media has influenced people's behavior than people themselves. Older women didn't grow up in that environment, hence my comment.

As a guy who was with a lot of older women before I got married to a older woman I've noticed most of them have that similar attraction. With my wife there was a much stronger desire between us but mostly it was her towards me even though I wasn't really interested in her but I still found her desirable. We got married because of this back in 2015 and we have 4 kids since then and even then the sexual desire is ongoing but I don't know if it's age thing with her since she's 44 and I'm 33. it's like every year her desires get stronger. It can also be that the younger person is looking for someone with money. When you see really young women with older men would say it's mainly because the man is wealthy and vice versa ..older women and really young men... not those several years younger.
Even though age is not indicative of maturity, the things you expressed regarding older woman and younger men are not necessarily true from a practical point of view, or at least rarely.
While there are some cases of May December relationships in which the woman is the older one that have gone on to last, that is more often than not the exception and not the rule.
Sadly for most younger men, they see dating an older woman as merely a passing entanglement to stroke their ego, even though when a younger men is mature enough he will realize that an older woman can love him just as much or more than any other woman.
But when you're with someone who's on a different wavelength as yourself, because somethings only come by with time (more often than not you as an older woman have qualities that he isn't even mature enough to recognize the value of)

Truth is as much as you may want to romanticize relationships with significant age differences, age does matter, it's not the only thing that matters but it does. But hang on my ex was foreign, from Iran, and in my opinion after what he put me through, worst man in the world, I did everything for him, he never liked my cooking and now my only son is the same,and would criticise everything i did, from how much i drank to the way i dressed and how i talked, he made all the decisions even when they were wrong, which meant moving to many times, and now he is leaving the new wife he has, means he is no good. Men have to help to and be their and support her and recognise her need for a identity not a slave to be at his beck and call, this is what happened to me. I am now with a much younger white man, who treats me like a queen, and yes I do everything for him and get a lot of love in return, my ex never worked, and went into business for himself to many times and lost more money than he made, my partner now works hard and sticks to his job, and will get better pay slowly, me i set up paying off the bills so his money goes further, so your comment is a bit one sided, and seeing your name you are from the middle east, well all men from that side of the world like my ex have been bought up to think they are GOD and they can treat woman how they like, this is not acceptable today and we are not 'property' either as he would call me time and time again SICK. Their are some really good woman out their older and younger ok and if you have had a bad experience with a woman, is your problem actually, and as I have been married to a bad man from Iran, who was selfish and thought about no one but HIMSELF and still does. For every bad woman out their , their is a good woman like me who has been through hell, and emotional stress, which has taken a toll on her, and now suffers from post traumatic stress disorder, anxiety and depression and has daily panic attacks, thanks to one man. He has never owned responsibility for what he has done to me and his kids, and his family in Iran...and now his nest ex...so their are very bad men out their too...I ma trying to be better, the man i'm with now has been mistreated by other woman, so we have both been let down by other people is a too way street, treat others as you would want to be treated simple. By the way my man i'm with now loves my cooking and even my mistakes, and tells me I'm perfect even though I know i'm not, he just 'gets' me simple.

Halim sadi- you sound very comfortable in a slave role. A woman deserves to be treated with love, respect and appreciation even more so because women end up doing most of, if not all, of the cooking , cleaning , child care , shopping etc. A woman should be appreciated for all those services provided. It is very hard work. It is also the highest form of love and respect. Not only for your man and family but for yourself. If a man does not appreciate cooking, cleaning, shopping, laundry being done, and child care then how can he be respected or appreciated ?
I’m 64 year old woman. I do Taichi every morning for 2 hours. By 4 in the afternoon I’m at my pole dance 💃 class, and dance for 2 hours. And after that I go to the 24 hour gym and work out 🏋️♀️ for at least 3 hours. This I do 6 days a week. Then sometimes hiking 🥾 even at night. My most fulfilling relationship Is with a 22 year old guy. He brings out the kid in me. I completely is able to express my child like personality. Yes, I have a lot of endurance and stamina 😀.
So you don't make dinner and eat together when he comes home from work? How can that be good? When is the 'us' time?

Women now are very different from their Mothers and Grandmothers and younger men don't hesitate to notice and approach you. Contrary, to what you may think there are a lot of independent younger men that have their own homes, cars, health insurance etc. Sometimes it's just nice not to limit yourself, if nothing else you may find a younger man a great companion.

We live in such a materialistic world, who cares if he owns a house and a car, we have to stop looking at men as to what material items they can bring to the table. Having your own things doesn't mean you're being materialistic, it says you're a responsible adult. Most older men/women are not seeking people who don't understand responsibilities. lol, 52 yrs old I am happy being single. What you said is true. Yes I have been asked few younger guys but I kept my life simple. I know my worth, my wants and need.
