My wife had the "carbon fiber intake" mode done years ago. She sleeps better, breaths better, and doesn't snore anymore. She was in tough shape for a few days, but after a week she felt so much better. Two weeks later back to normal minus all the nose flushing she had do for a month. I joke with her that her nose as more carbon fiber in it than my race car has.
Thank you Misha. Appreciate you sharing this side of your life. It’s fascinating to watch you over a few years and see these changes and hear you talk about what and why. It has been hard for you to invest in your health but imagine the rest of your life being so much improved.
I feel you bro. The whole life I'm been breathing with one nostril. I had my septum surgery done few years ago. Life changer. I no longer get colds easily and breathing is so easier now. I would say that after surgery it took my nose few months to fully clear up and "settle". Almost like this "swollenness" inside my nose that I lived with for more than 30 years was now slowly backing off. So take your time and take care.
I had my surgery few years ago, I was constantly sick before, got colds and flu all the time. Surgery changed my life 100 times for the better. I still have cronic allergy so sometimes inside of my nose is little swallen and harder to breed but all in all absolute life changer for the better. I was 5 days in hospitals, and I was basically ok even from day one after surgery, just dizzy from anesthetics etc, second day already up to speed.
Been there, done that, bought the t-shirt. 4 years ago, also hade an expansion of the sinus area in the same surgery. Freakin painful for 2 weeks but so worth it, i am now able to breathe and do not suffer from sinusitis 3 months per year. Get well soon, love your channel with great content, cars and people!!
I had simelar issue, did the surgery a month ago. A big difference, so happy I did it. Waited way to long...for years i've had nosesprays which did nothing. Finaly did the surgery, and OMG the results is amazing, I can finally breath properly.
Good to see that everything is going well and this is the big change you hoped it to do. And now enjoy your new eventuri intake and breath a lot of nice air.
the best part is. you never let you medical problems get in the way of your dreams misha. i became a truckdriver, i have a bad back(4 disks are ruined) i have blood pressure problems, and dokters say i wont pass 40 years old. (11 year to go) but still i stay positive and enjoy life to the best. live everyday to the max, like its your last one.
Reading the comments it shows what a positive influence social media personalities can have if they don't paint a one-dimensional picture of themselves. Of course, we don't need to know every little detail of their lives but the ones that do show the imperfections and personal challenges of their human sides generally also have the more enjoyable channels. It becomes more like personal documentaries that keep you interested. All the rest become boring after 10 videos/posts.
Good on you for getting that surgery. I had it over Christmas just before the pandemic and it's the best thing I ever did going from 1 blocked nostril and 1 half blocked nostrils to being able to breathe properly. ( I went private to skip the queues so the costs you describe were about what I paid) The consultant actually described my nose as being a mess with the tip, septum and nose itself all needing realigning but the recovery time being similar to yours. If anybody else is thinking of this surgery don't delay it WILL change your life. Even the recovery isn't too bad, it's gross at times with bloody snots but the pain can be easily managed with paracetamol and ibuprofen.
Same surgery my friend has a couple of weeks ago. Less money payed here but he said it's worth it and now he can breath normal again after so many years of agony. :) Good you are back!
Hi Misha, ich hatte eine solche Operation als Kind/Teenager. Es war sehr unangenehm aber im Nachhinein eine unglaubliche Verbesserung der Lebensqualität. Alles gute bei der weiteren Genesung, Grüße!
I had my deviated septum corrected last year. The dripping and blood is the worst part. Be prepared for the MASSIVE dried snot clumps you will blow out almost like Arnie pulling out the tracker in Total Recall LOL. The other part is the clean up after can be a little painful. Only short period of time for that. I experienced one of my plastic inserts be out of position and I had 10 injections and then the doc forcibly push it back into place. So much fun. Good luck and looking forward to videos sympathetically whilst you heal. (I couldn't risk playing paintball whilst I was healing for a few months.
as someone who had their nose cauterized at a very young age, and also as someone who currently has consistent sinus issues / incredible difficulty breathing through their nose, i can totally relate on the frustrations you have gone through in terms of your respiratory health. i am currently exploring the option of getting my deviated septum fixed as well, since the complications are still compounding on themselves. thanks for sharing this misha. sometimes all it takes is one success story to motivate others to take that step to better their life.
Been watching you since Boosted Boris days and seeing you transform your life with multiple upgrades to your health has inspired me to keep pushing. I'm glad you're okay now and thanks for your health updates every now and then. I used to be quite callous with my health and your vids helped me wake up. Thanks again. :)
Stock airbox, K&N panel filter upgrade! I laughed so hard when you said intake upgrade. Congrats, the way you dive in and work at achieving your goals is truly inspiring!
I remember the feeling of having the "Tampax" pulled out of my nostrils after my operation. I wasn't quite ready for the length of the material as it was sharply yanked from my nose!😳 The first few seconds of a fully open airway were incredible, then the blood started to drip into the plastic bib provided 😮 Over time, the gains have deminished however, in general I can now breath better. Well done for sharing your journey and keep up the inspirational videos please! Great work 👍
I wish you a complete recovery and hope you will be able to breathe perfectly. I had the surgery back in October unfortunately it barley helped, maybe a 10% improvement. So I still have the worst sleep ever.
I have been wondering about it a lot since I suffer from deviation for a long time. Somehow other videos weren’t feeling close while I’ve been a subscriber since Boosted Boris days. You gave me confidence Misha, thank you so much! Also, coming to ring at the end of the month for the first time on the track. I hope we can meet in person too!
Ty Misha, I broke my nose x3 in my teens, but only have ever had "good function in my left nostril" now i realise I most likely have similar issue and would explain a lot of my respiratory issues.. until now I just thought was normal and dealt with it, going to get it looked at... Thank you.
Misha, so happy to hear your success story! I had a rhinoplasty due to deviated septum too and ended up doing a septoplasty a year or 2 later. I HIGHLY recommend the septoplasty. 1st surgery is a game changer and 2nd surgery again is even more. If needed of course. Love to watch and hear your positive vibes. Glad you're doing much better! Love your videos as always!
Onto the recovery process which you are already done with it seeems. You really are one brave son of a gun my brotha. The modified intake system together with the jaw surgery will improve the overall quality of life I am sure. Health is velly important.
misha i am happy you are doping better. We love you and we Love all of your content regardless of what its about! you are a stand up, humble and honest man. there is nothing wrong with sharing you experiences if it goes to helping people. We are happy to hear you got new CSL carbon intake box and can fire on all cylinders :)
Had tis done in new Zealand for free but all my eyes bruised up And took 2 months to recover from the weeping it would pay to learn to nose breath again makes a big difference to your health
My situation is a lot different and less serious to yours, but I have the fairly common condition of sleep apnoea, which probably only the sleep situation would likely be similar. If I forget to wear my cpap I can barely think and function the next day. I don't know how I went without it for so long but the improvement was huge. So once your operation heals it's definitely going to be something that really improves your life and you will notice it in your everyday function and also in your driving. Good luck to you mate, sure you will be amazed soon how much improvement you will experience
Congrats in your new improved high performance intake mod! No pain no gain...right? Had my septum corrected 20 ish years ago...the Dr. had to break it in 3 spots to correct it...plus nasal polyps removed on top of that. Had the black eyes and my head felt like my skull was fractured...good times. Back then they packed the nose with like 40 feet a gauze...a single piece, and man that was fun and unforgettable. A few days after scaring my friends with my swollen face and removing the gauze I could smell things for the first time in over a decade...and it was like smells were in color! LOL
Aww man now I’m gonna have to finally get mine done I’ve been avoiding it - I also had really bad allergies which made for debilitating asthma - immunotherapy has helped significantly but I know this surgery is the next step
hi misha! i ve been having the same issue for the past like 3 years..im now 18 and allowed to do the surgery..because u are not allowed to have cosmetic surgery until 18 years of age plus i was at the beginning of puberty..im getting surgery this month and im glad u showed me the aftermath of the surgery..hopefully it wont be so bad cause i have a feeling that i might wake up gasping for air and having a panick attack. anyways im glad u are happy and healthy!..ah one more thing..i go to the gym aswell and i think im not allowed to workout for like a month after surgery and u shocked me when u said u went to the gym after one week...

Good luck recovering! I recently had the same surgery done. For me the difference wasn’t massive, but defintely worth it! For anyone having it done, let the doctors know if you are asthmatic or prone to panic attacks. Waking up after the surgery and suddenly not being able to breath through your nose could induce some severe panic attacks. At least it did for me.
I had much the same nasal issues after 5 nose breaks - after the correction I can breath again (some 8 years ago now) and it changed so many things including being able to sleep on both sides again for the first time since childhood - hope it makes as much of a difference to your life quality too.
I'm a new subscriber here and i want to wish you a fast recovery! I had a similar problem to my nose diaphragm but sadly even after a new type of surgery i have the same problems..

Misha, i feed your pain because I had the same exact surgery just 3 days ago, no BS, deviate nasal septum and conche surgery. Maybe my condition is not as severe as your but I feel your pain buddy. I’m still recovering but the worst feeling is the inability of not blow the nose, so annoying! But I have to say, pretty painless process so far. Granted my doctor didn’t put tampons into my nose, maybe a different method, but I have the same rolled plastic things stitched to the nose. For me the first night I’ve trouble to sleep just breathing from the mouth, ending up basically not sleeping at all, but the night before went pretty smoothly. Hope that is going well for you and wish the best for you Misha! Everyone I’ve speech that has the same thing done they say is pretty life changing for quality of life.

I had exactly the same thing done a year or two ago for the exact same reason. It helped a lot. My recovery was really easy (sorry lol). They didn't put the plastic tubes in mine though. I just had to flush it with a sterile saline solution using a special bottle (I didn't enjoy that part). My easy recovery was of much annoyance to my girlfriend who had hers done a couple of months before. She suffered with it, whereas I just shrugged it off within a week lol. Fast recovery, mate, and I'll see you on the 5th of May 😎
Did the same surgery has you Misha and the first week was also horrible plus I got a cold but after a week when I removed the two plastic things from my nostrils, was a big improvement.
damn he got a new carbon intake +100hp
Good thing Eifel weather makes sure it's STILL COLD AIR (intake) in April.
@@mgcharoudin i think i am also gonna need a new intake system
CF intake only makes power with proper tune and MAP sensor, needs dyno tune to max gainz.
room for an intercooler?
Eventuri rhino horn could be so cool
