It is with great sadness that I have to inform you that on New Years Eve Paul suddenly passed away. Paul was one of the most passionate Bajans I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. The tour he gave me and Jo of the island was truly amazing. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 R.I.P Paul
This video has brought a little happiness in a moment of sadness within the department of the Emergency Ambulance service. To see him doing what he loved and to see how much you appreciated him and his work. Thank you.
Hi, great video! I'm a Bajan (Barbadian) and trust me, there's nothing quite like staying at a hotel or bay house in Bathsheba and taking breakfast at the break of dawn while watching the sun rise.
Its easy for the world to love this video because you are only thinking about having a good time and not finding fault about the Island. Very lovely indeed

Sad to read about Paul, nice that tribute remains. Pity about the cricket. We watched the Westies beat England in 2019, home pitch. I am Canadian and had never watched cricket. We were fortunate to have a seat mate explain the game. Not sure I could follow again, very civil to break for a meal. Lots of Brits travelled there for the game. Arnies Army? They really loved beer. I am lucky, I have been travelling to Barbados for over 60 years. Beautiful people, lovely island. Favourite beaches to play in the surf are Rockley and Long Beach. Hopefully the plague will not take an economic toll on education and infrastructure funding. Banks is best!
Paul was a passionate mate and I'm glad I was fortunate enough to have spent the day with him. I would love to watch the cricket in Barbados, its on a bucket list. You're not wrong about how beautiful the island is and I hope to return soon, and yes Banks beer is so good. 🤙🤙

Just a correction - Barbados is an Atlantic island. It is completely surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean, I hate that tourism marketers mislead people with that point. 😡😡😡😡 Panama does the same thing too
Another stunning blog Matt, we did a similar tour called Island Safari, fair bit of off road and very bumpy. As much as I love my Florida visits, I so want to go back to Barbados soon as possible.
@@WalkoutMatt hmmm....me thinks you might like it there...... I could go off you y’know if you go yet again😂😂😂. If you do, try the, 🤞🏻think, Island Safari. Its a modified Jeep type safari, partially off road, does the coastal bits and up thru the centre visiting the old garrison, plantation areas and such like, tho I dont know the extent of your last tour. We have Flori booked for end of Apr with our whole tribe god willing (god or indeed anybody with authority over this bug) 😂😂 so I think that will be the extent of our travels 2021 if it goes ahead that is. J’s got a big birthday coming up 2022 so just maybe I will get a full 2 weeks there in the paradise yet.
It’s a shame that your English and European ancestors are the only one ones who really enjoy or prosper of this land. You should feel overwhelmed knowing that a whole set of generations where treated as shit even up to know.
