Great video. May I ask what format you usually use for uploading? I uploaded a 1+ hour RE2020 HLG video, but after 3 weeks it still hasn't been converted to HDR.
For this video due to size I uploaded HEVC, but it took a long time to show up as 8K HDR. It also depends on the video, sometimes it would take 1 week, sometimes 1 month, and in one case it took 3 months! And a couple other times, the HDR never appeared (so I had to re-upload).
I am using the neo g9 57 inch. when i go full screen with this video even at 4k it becomes more blurry ( Quality drops ) Same for chome and my firefox browsers. How do i fix this? It is hard but possible to find true 4k videos on '16:9' but i have not found a single 4k 32:9 on youtube which i can view on my screen without loss of quality.
When you click on "stats for nerds" (right click to pull up the context menu), what does it say? The optimal for the neo g9 57 will have Codec AV1 at full 8K and Color Rec 2020. If you don't have these, there is an issue with your hardware or possibly software.
@@GalacticWarthogYes you are right, both my codec and color shown are not those. How to get those ? Please help thanks. And the stats for nerds shows i am only viewing in 32:9 1080p..
@@Chesterwilliamfrancis If you are on Windows make sure you have installed the AV1 Video Extension from the Microsoft Store. Then go to TH-cam Settings | Playback and Performance and make sure "Always prefer AV1" is checked. If your hardware is unable to support AV1 then you're out of luck. Try it with Chrome first, or Edge.
@@GalacticWarthogMany Many thanks. I did exactly as u adviced and it works. I am now able to change quality to 8K mode and now stats nerd shows i am at 7680x2160 . Looks amazing in full screen now.
wow!! 😮 simply: galactic!👍🏻💪🏻☝🏻
I see all the beauty 🥰 in 4320p60fps on my Philips 498P9Z Monitor, 32x9 format, hdr 456, 5120x1440@165 Hz
