Yes, Chiara was light-years ahead of the other girls...a magnificent cyclist...and as said below...why allow her into this competition, watch her win almost every event and then de-select her...purely based on her age!! Very poor judgement on their part. Luka was phenomenal from the being...I wish him every success for his future. Indeed, I think Backstedt displayed a bias towards Chiara...she won this event...and was robbed!
Marianna Vos is basically the same age and AvV is older. It’s just ugly how it happened, they should of not brought her to final if they were not open to hire her, the Queen of the Mountain
They also chose the weakest rider there in what seems like a nasty case of bias from the guy from Wales(Magnus). The lady seemed uncomfortable with his choice
Zwift is great to stay in shape during the wet months, but Pros ride so much longer than Zwift offers. I find myself riding multiple course or doing multiple races on Zwift to get the miles in.
So, is this old academy being recycled to whet our appetites for the current academy, or as consolation because there will be no vid of the current academy?

So many crashes... I am sure those riders are in great shape but to let them ride in pro pelation is a horrible idea. They will take out many many riders... Maybe the winners need to spend an additional year just to learn how not to crash!
Ok... it feels different when on trainer and when naturally out on the road... just like computer games.😊 reality and science......good presentation ....virtual cycling..not for me..
Luca was a bad pick. He’s got no racing IQ and doesn’t lay it out all on the line. We had guys like that on some of my teams and it was always a disappointment

The best bit was when Chiara won. The worst bit was when she was denied.
My favorite part was that no matter how well you perform the judges pick their predetermined favorite! Absolutely phenomenal! Keep it up guys!

Chiara objectively won this. No demerit to Alex, she also did great. And let´s be honest, a 37 year old was never going to win a pro contract.
Also, very sad to see Chiara hold in the tears in the final

Ciara was robbed. Well, maybe 'robbed' is a bit too strong but she was by far the best female rider here. Her age worked against her.
