why no one really admire how masterpiece is the gundam hathaway like there is no engrish and the realism are so good you can even notice if those scene can really happen irl. Its a very very good show

why xi gundam was pickup in mid air???
It was a secret trade. So nobody suspects it was made by Anaheim electronics. After all mafty is a terrorist.
Because Hathaway is terrorist duh. What do you think will happen if arms manufacturers get caught selling firearms to criminals or terrorist? Anaheim can't deliver Xi officially so they just did stealth drop in the middle of ocean to avoid suspicion. This is uc gundam standard, anaheim selling to both faction and making shit ton of money.

To be fair, it was because of multiple factors.
True, Hathaway did effed up along the way, but it was just one of many factor. After all there were: atmosphere hijacking and attack by another Mafty in Haunzen, resulting in some Fed's cabinet ministers death; Kenneth Sleg's immediate takeover over his predecessor (Kimberley Hayman)'s post in Davao, in which resulting in better morale and much effcient troops deployment in Pacific area for just one night; "insurgence cleanup" by the Manhunt; failed siege in Davao and capture of Gawman Nobile; lastly, the EFF possessed a new model, Gundam-type MS.
All these factors is why Hathaway and the Mafty ends up urging AE to quickly finishing the Xi and send it by the cargo (along with its munition) ahead of its original schedule. Not to mention, while retrieving Cargo Pisa and what's inside above Halmahera's sky. EFF MS troops along with the Penelope, almost intercepted the cargo because they act quickly.
Cause the Davao EFSF forces would be on that shit immediately once it was in their airspace, which is why the Penelope and Xi have that dogfight right after the pickup. Mafty had to get it before it could be intercepted by space or ground feddies.
This Gundam looks great, as long as it dosnt have some BS about "the power or friendship" or "the power of the spirit" and is a straight up military show in sold

Shit happened at night. on the ocean? it makes sense it's dark. Ocean at night is damn scary without light. Literal abyss.
