The TV series explains that graboids have also been found in the Sahara, Mongolia, and the Oklahoma panhandle. The beginning of the third movie has Burt mowing down the monsters in Argentina, so they'd obviously be found there too. Movie 5 is taking place in South Africa and Namibia so we can assume they can be found there too.

Not all of this information is entirely accurate. 1) You can not wait a graboid out, in the first fillm it shows how patient they are. 2) How often does it rain in deserts? It never happened in the films or tv series. 3) They sense vibrations with the things they move with, which are more like small legs than spikes. I don't believe in real graboids, just wanted to correct this.

I find this helps with the first four films, I love the films, as a kid I wanted them to be really so some kid at school would stop bugging me about zoo animals or something like that.
To the question are they real? No, they are not and if they are than,”OH HELL NO!!!!” *picks up sniper and works with Burt to kill worms 🐛 * no! Just no! They are not real they are part of a film, so people please stop trolling others who haven’t seen the films.
Anyway have a wonderful day and stay safe hunting those unground man eating worms known as The grabiods or los Grabiods in Spanish I think? Not sure 🤔

to deal with graboids put some liquid that is poisonous to them then two things will happen
one: the graboids leave you alone to not be poisoned
two: the tentacles suck up the poisonous liquid and the graboid will slowly die

This video calls them reptiles but that isn't accurate. I recall from an official FAQ about the Tremors movies that graboids were not closely related to any other living animal. I guess that's to be expected of a Precambrian multicellular life form (which is kind of ridiculous anyway, given that there would not have been any prey animals in the Precambrian for them to feed on).
