I feel like that’s really the end goal , make it to the next shift until they become a stream of ease! It doesn’t always have to be stressful but do find your groove 🎯 Charlotte we are all trying to do just that haha 🎯
I am an RN of 33 years. Listen to this man. Other possible jobs to consider are home health, dialysis tech, developmental disabilities companies and hospice. Always report changes to your nurse and go to the computer and write a new alert. That will cover you.
@@tarawright363I’m currently in inpatient rehab & I’m really trying to get into the hospice! I’ve got 10 yrs of home health & 3 years of assisted living and memory care!
On my 6th day I had a patient crash! CNA school did not prepare me for that, I had to learn hands on. The book work helps with clinical knowledge. However there is a lot of skills and techniques you learn from the RNs and other CNAs
I agree the course simply prepares you only to know the knowledge , being in the field is completely different! 🎯 I learned so much when I actually started working. Now as for Codes , I don’t think anything an peeps are yo for that. Actively saving a patients like in a code blue is one of the scariest thing I have ever been through. I will do some content on this soon lookout for that video 🎯
As a seasoned CNA I started on a med surge floor. It was an amazing floor to learn on but now that I've been there for 5 years....I'm getting burnt out and it's becoming a transitional care unit-Basically long term care patients waiting for placement. I applied to a Periop CNA position yesterday. There's more to being a CNA than just memory care and caregiver opportunities! I'm so excited for this new adventure!
I feel like being a cna first at the hospital has convinced me that I don't even want to be a nurse anymore but I have to push through I already started so I might as well finish😅
Mind as well just finish plus you’ll find a new purpose for this when you become a nurse! It all be worth it I promise! I’m dealing with this same feeling now 🎯
Hello Zid thank you for sharing more information on CNA content. Believe it or not the information Ithat you 've given out has been truly a blessing to me and for me. By the time I do pass my exam and the skills test and take everything you given in your videos I do believe I'm going to do and excellent job as a CNA. And at the same time stay humble and also have a teachable spirit. Thank you Zid and enjoy all your blessings. Pamela.
Pamela , you are truly amazing , thank you for such kind words that you always provide! I started this channel to simply help others initially , I didn’t see much CNA content and I wanted to fill that void! It’s wild to see me simply sharing my experience is helping so many people! It warms my heart daily and keeps me going 🎯 You’re time is coming soon and I can’t wait of hear about your journey as time goes on! You deserve them world Pam 🎯 Thank you always

I am praying for you Mandy , it may seem like a mountain now but I promise you if you try hard and put one foot in front of the other you will be fine! The info isn’t hard to grasp but the course can just take some time that is all! I didn’t even know that these classes are offered fully online because of clinical but it’s cool to hear that you are doing it. If you need any help feel free to let me know, id be happy to answer anything. The test is the main focus so prepare for that as soon as you can, I have plenty of videos on this too so feel free to check them out 🎯 Keep me updated with your progress Mandy and best of luck 🎯
I watch almost all of your cna videos. Tomorrow I’ll be starting my new job as an agency cna. I was told i will only have a day of orientation then after that they will expect me to do work on my own. Any advice? As a new cna you think i can do it? It makes me nervous coz english is my second language and i am still adjusting
I think you’ll do fine , as long as you have an idea of what you’re doing , you will be fine! Picking up in what to do doesn’t take long at all! Best of luck 🎯 and don’t forget to sub
Shi, in 1990 (around 30 years ago.) The minimum wage was $3.85. So, $5/hr wasn’t a horrible wage. Should have been maybe $10 but still wasn’t horrible.
Hello , I'm a cna student right now. I'm interested in working in a neonatal unit. I'm afraid they might not hire me . I feel as if I have to work at the long term care facility first before going to the hospital. I really hope I could get a position at the baby unit that's where I want to be and I love working wit babies.
Nah I say go for it , often times any tech position in the womens hospital is filled. mother/baby, NICU, L&D is always a hot position in any space! But apply anyway the worst they can say is no 🎯 don’t forget to sub my friend 🎯
It’s really not talked about, outpatients to ICU. Mental, physical, kids, surgery… I did so many crap jobs. Yes, I did agency first. It was awesome because I found my niche a lot quicker. Drama is the worst. Boredom is life draining. My worst job sucked my soul, my best made work life amazing. And the team were my work family
Fixing the wrong opportunity is definitely draining … honestly I hate it. I try to stay out of the drama too , it’s not worth it and I see more if the ladies worry about it 🎯 I just come in do my job and dip 😂 love y’all not nah I’m not doing that 😃
Can you share how to start a 3 to 11:30 pm shift like about the fast and organized steps or maybe routine that is more helpful to make work will done thank you❤❤❤ i really appreciate if you can help share your experience
Do your best and go home. And remember your colleagues are not your friends.

Which has higher pay rate working in acute care or in a nursing home facility?
I would say definitely the hospital! 🎯 way more money in this

If you are a brand new CNA is it hard to get a hospice job?
It should be , once you are in the state registry you can be trained to do any job CNA’s do🎯
Which state are you from? You guys make much more than we do in Wisconsin.
The great state of NC , but always negotiate you’re rate! Make sure to sub to see more as well 🎯
Great video!
Thank you for that Breanna! 🙌🏽
new subby 😊
Aye , shoutout to you for subbing ! Welcome to the TH-cam family 🙌🏽
