That's all that dozer is good for is pushing. It's strong as shit but the d6r you can do anything on. Perfect for grading with rock in it plus shell push up some shit
Can someone explain the reason why some dozers have a track profile like this, with the double wheel set up at the rear to give it the wedge shape, compared to the usual single wheel oval shape? does it have a benefit over that more standard shape?

D6 is such a versatile size machine. Big enough for most jobs and small enough to transport easily.

Good machine but arthur don't like the wrist shifting. Better off with the regular power shift to keep the wrist from locking up with fwd and rev.
Not very hard to switch between F, N, R in my opinion.

It’s so the tracks can clean themselves from mud easier, When the track goes up the diamond shape the mud falls down

if that was my machine I would run this so called operator off my job. Changing gears without de-cellerating the engine. None operator.
Not necessary to decel on the new Cats. Not a bad thing to do, it provides a smooth ride but shifting without decel does not hurt anything.
