While she wasn't the one who first made the song so famous and popular, her version is the one most (post 70's) people would have first heard since the original song was first a hit when it was released in 1975. Dimash also performed the song with his sister (it was her stage debut with him on a major concert stage). I don't know why Dimash smiled at the end, but it looked to me that this was that one time when Dimash wasn't 100% sure about audience reaction to his "play" or what I think of as vertical runs. Luckily they accepted him. One might think that it is unnecessary in the song, but considering his development that followed I am sure glad he took the chance.
