I’ve had this bag for about 5 years now and it still looks practically brand new. It’s been on a good amount of hikes, roadtrips, beaches, planes, and even survived a hurricane at Disney lol. So many adventures with this backpack and much more to come :)
Cheap bags are where it's at sometimes. Jansport just put out a new line I've been wanting to look at that has a modular system for using their backpack and crossbody. I had my eye on a hatchet for years but was always hesitant because of the thin and floppy design. I pack my bags kinda full sometimes.
Great review! Any idea where I can find a smaller version of this. Love everything about it, but was hoping to find about a 20L bag just like this one.
Looking at one of these for overseas one bag travelling. Think it would work? I wonder if stuff falls out easily? It seems half the storage space is lost from the deep U shape zip opening... Love that you hugged the bag :)
Another great bag from Jansport - th-cam.com/video/DPT88Eqa9J4/w-d-xo.html

Neat! I’ll look into it
@@ThePerfectBag Its called the Pro Pack. Made of better materials as well.
@@britishmalayasociety I see that it's up for the Carryology awards this year too - I need to try it!

I think the most similar bag to this one would be the topo designs, Rover pack, or Rover Tech, which comes in a lot of colors and materials
Jansport bags are tried and true! I use a 5L sling daily.
I got the same watch and same bag (different color bag though) 👊

I own two of these and yes you do lose some some storage because of the you shape, simple fix for me is using a packing bag
Spends on the length of the trip. I think for extended travel I’d want something about twice this big probably.
Awk this is my favorite bag by JanSport! ❤❤❤
Agreed. Great bag!
Does the water bottle pocket have a drain hole for when it rains
I have two Hatchets - no drainhole.
the new hatchet we have doesnt have that tablet compartment.
I like the first hatchet design
There’s so many on the secondhand market!!!
where do you buy the camo one?
You’ll have to get this secondhand unless they remake it - not on offer…but Jansport does rotate colors a lot!
@@ThePerfectBag Amazon has the army green one with brown straps. Guess I'll just get that one.
Looking for a back pack in Jansport this help me thanks bro
Not a problem!
Jansport has a lifetime warranty too so if it does rip you can send it back for free repair or replacement
Epic
Better yet, they have a lifetime warranty, so you don't even need to buy a new one when it gets destroyed
I wish i could buy the watchtower
Is the material like thin or thick?
Cause its the first time I purchased that and its coming july 29
It’s thinner than some - but that’s good I think because the bag isn’t too heavy, doesn’t feel cheap
Fun review wanderer
Thx MM! Love this bag
