I could say the same about Spotify: I pick a genre, add a few keywords, and press a couple of buttons - but no one calls that ‘creating’ music. Why should this be any different?
Been using it for a couple of days and I love it already. Of course I’m already running into some limitations but I can only imagine how the next few versions will address these. I fall into the category of a studio musician that has a hard drive full of unfinished ideas. I’ve written lyrics and auditioned vocalists to sing on my songs and it never worked out. But now I can sit here for hours scanning through these virtual auditions to decide which ones I like the best. I can use these as a demo to once again have a real vocalist record it for me or I can just enjoy finally hearing a (mostly) complete version of a song that I started 15 years ago. The limitations are that sometimes when I find a version that has a lot of things that I like and a few that I don’t, I can’t really roll the dice to get those issues resolved without sacrificing the entire version. So being able to edit specific points in the song within Suno would be incredible. Similarly, more predictable choice of the voice would be wonderful and the ability to retain that voice on each consecutive version. Maybe I found a voice I like and I want to do a whole album with it. I want to be able to load that voice on demand. Also, 60 Seconds might not be long enough to analyze enough of my song to get a good idea of where it’s going. It picks up the main chorus melody some of the time and the verse rhythms some of the time but rarely both. The final thing is that I would love to be able to download the stems. Downloading the isolated vocal tracks to use in my own DAW would make things that much more useful for producers who still enjoy doing much of the work on our own, while leaving only a few things to AI. Other than that I think it’s a great tool and I’m excited to see where it goes!

Thats not fair iv spent 35 years, going to music school spending 8 or more ours behind walls practicing when every other kid was playing enjoying life i was working hard playing & reading music. After all these years building up a foundation harmony, creating melodies, & producing creating verse chorus bridge i have created many many songs the hard way. For someone to come & push a button & create music i feel is not fair. This will kill the music industry & its making my passion & hard earned knowledge unexistent. There needs to be some limitations for Aİ. Or rules put in place, i get what their trying to do but its allso a big failure. What makes a ferrari a ferrari is it being unique hard to get. İf everyone could get one with a click of a button it would be worthless.
It won't kill music. You have something that these people who are prompting up new songs don't. you can have fun playing music and enjoy the thrill of playing for others. and even better, playing music WITH others. It does feel unfair - people in every industry are feeling that way right now about AI... But we're blessed to be able to PLAY music.
There's still a pretty big difference between someone creating original music from scratch and someone putting in a few prompts and having a song created by AI. I have been using Suno for a little while and it is fun and great for coming up with ideas for music, but it's not the same as actually making your own music. I compare it to ordering fast food. You can go to a restaurant and tell them what you want and a few minutes later you will get, but you didn't make the food, you just told the restaurant what you wanted and they gave it to you. That's kind of how I see Suno but with music.
One of the recurring similes from a podcast on AI I listen to (AI and You) is this: If we create a robot, that is perfect at eating ice cream, would you stop enjoy ice cream? Of course not. Creativity is in itself a reward. And yeah, there will be more and more AI music, AI art etc. But humans will not stop drawing or composing music. And they will not stop going to concerts to see listen to live music, to watch music being performed. If anything, these skills may actually be more renowned in the future, as people understand better and better how much effort goes into art, no matter the form. Also, going the hard way (i.e. wrting music by hand), when the easy one (i.e. creating music with one button) is available, is also a great virtue, that is not lost on any human being.
You can perform live and that will be a huge distinguisher because most AI prompters and enthusiasts cannot perform live. As a musician, it is time to start investing funds in creating, curating and promoting live shows... that is where the money is now. Many people these days now yearn to experience music live and make memories. Like handmade art you could see and touch, people would pay a premium to hear musicians perform once the internet is filled with nothing but soulless garbage. Keep making your music but consider leaning heavily on performing live.
Suno really has amazing technology! Proof of this is that all the songs on my channel were literally made with it, encompassing various musical genres (rap, rock, bossa nova, electronic...)
I’ve known about this and turns out I collected a lot of credits 😂 finally got back into it yesterday. Personally, it will help people of all backgrounds whether your some kid in a basement or a professional like Alan Walker. I am for AI and music creation. Good music will always stand out from the noise.
well this will only ever be supported by NPC people or capitalism companies trying to get money from NPC people, no one with a master degree would ever support this.. this is for the brainwashed mass
I don't get being a "decidedly mediocre musician", as somebody who appreciates music so deeply... And instead of spending the time becoming a good musician, creating a program that can make music better than mediocre musicians. XD. Pretty cool tho although as this tech advances its gonna hurt a lot of musicians. But I think at the end of the day people are always going to want to be able to play music live and be able to jam and have fun together with music.
The music industry and major companies often push the narrative that “AI-generated music will ruin the industry and art.” Prominent artists join the chorus of complaints. But here’s the truth: they’re worried about losing control. If they can’t dictate the music you consume, their profits shrink. AI levels the playing field, allowing anyone to create music. This challenges the established idea that only certain people or companies can define what “art” should be. So, if using AI feels right to you, go for it. Don’t let fearmongering or hidden agendas stop you-none of these people truly have your interests at heart. Trust yourself and create.
No their worries that what is happening on the blockchain with meme coins will happen to the whole world, when AI f*** every single thing that is to be proud off and turn the world into a dystopian dumb with commercials all over the place cause the only way to make money would be selling air
😂 He is like someone traveling on an airplane saying he knows how to fly. He is a mere passenger and so are these people too. I'm glad live music exists because recorded music will become completely irrelevant due to oversupply. Besides I prefer the old way because of the huge amount of electricity and water these massive AI machine halls require to keep them running and cool.👎 What's next? I suppose we get what we deserve. Parade of fools. Prompt that 😂 Pardon my english, didn't use AI.

You know...to musicians this does not make any sense at all i think... My brain is saying this is music by both of my lobes are ON and i´m thinking a lot rather than being rested. So no... i get why somebody who does not spend hours trying to pull something out of his soul would find this interesting but it does not make any sense at all.
it's just capitalism that want to milk the NPC people, as they are clearly the only ones that will like this and support it, sadly there are many of them these days, but again so there is in a movie... the rest of us just have to rise above it
These songs so cliche, boring! Nothing surprising, no vulnerability, things that make it authentically human. This does not make me smile. Stop adding more noise into the world...
So it's like modern human music? Modern commercial music is dehumanizing, nearly identical, and doesn't say anything of value. Put in some actually good lyrics and it comes out better.
Well, I'm sure he's actually listened to that song before, it was very discussed on Discord and someone from Suno actually asked some questions about it and said it loves some part of it. I'm pretty sure I remember this, unless I'm mistaking it for a different song, but I'm pretty sure I'm not.
All I can say is the quality better go up or that $125 million they just got is a lot of wasted money. I've used Suno since January and the audio quality has continually declined, over the last couple of months. I'm not sure what happened, but the songs are also are horrible now. It's like listening to very bad elevator music. I started using Udio, which is far better, and I'm not likely to continue with Suno.
@@johnnemo4146 I think they mean a "Digital Audio Workbench". Its the interface music composers use on their computers to get things done for creating songs.
Create songs using AI? 🤔 What about copyright? Can someone register it? Isn't that not personal work but pure AI? What about community standards on TH-cam? It's very confusing, so regulations must be made immediately. Thanks.
Suno grants paid members copywrite. You also retain your lyrics if you wrote them yourself even if using the free version. It gets into law if those copywrites are real. It hasn't been decided if your prompt is enough to make it your work. US requires human input as AI is not defined as a legal person like corporations or humans. I'd bet that if the lyrics are written by you, that copywrite will hold.
anything made by AI can't be copyrighted it's stated by international law, you can look it up, so no matter what this shady CEO's and their shady bussiness model claim... anyone can use anything
i just started using suno a couple days ago and im absolutely floored at how good it really is yea some of the songs have kind of a robotic voice but man is it on point with the music the metal songs it can create are amazing and the lyrics for some of the prompts you can give it are hysterical I did one country song about a gay cowboy and it did not disappoint in any regard. seriously incredible stuff from this team of people. i could probably make a playlist of songs from this ai and no one would be the wiser that they arent actual songs. i am curious to know how the rights work to each song but who cares the fact that we can share these with everyone is truly beautiful so thank you to the team at SUNO.
This is one of the great technological developments in this world. I totally support this. Because in my opinion, this progress is not to take away human creativity as a basic human asset but to help humans to be more creative. Because for me the development of technological progress is also a blessing given by God to its creators. Thank you to those who found it. Salute.

Thanks for your honest opinions & moral. 🙏
Keep making your music but consider leaning heavily on performing live.
amazing app ive made like ten songs and gotten some inspiration to create more music.
I started today with Suno, amazing!
It’s music for NPC’s. lol
😂
Suno really has amazing technology! Proof of this is that all the songs on my channel were literally made with it, encompassing various musical genres (rap, rock, bossa nova, electronic...)
great work,Keep on!🎉
Is this app available on iPhone?
2:30 and that is where the starch brain is wrong - frequency might be shared, the perception is purely subjective
this is the end of the world.
I’ve known about this and turns out I collected a lot of credits 😂 finally got back into it yesterday. Personally, it will help people of all backgrounds whether your some kid in a basement or a professional like Alan Walker. I am for AI and music creation. Good music will always stand out from the noise.
This is the end of art.
Art was always overrated. This is the proof of it.
@@Yadeehoo not being able to produce anything of artistic merit doesn't necessarily make art overrated
Not if we keep making it ourselves.
well this will only ever be supported by NPC people or capitalism companies trying to get money from NPC people, no one with a master degree would ever support this.. this is for the brainwashed mass
Please added upi payment options sir
Please give me your credits.you dont need that much.
**Describes why Oliver McCann uses Suno AI**
**Proceeds to admit he has no clue who he is**
can use song in youtube
I don't get being a "decidedly mediocre musician", as somebody who appreciates music so deeply...
And instead of spending the time becoming a good musician, creating a program that can make music better than mediocre musicians. XD.
Pretty cool tho although as this tech advances its gonna hurt a lot of musicians. But I think at the end of the day people are always going to want to be able to play music live and be able to jam and have fun together with music.
I love suno
Hebat, Anda memang pria yang luar biasa..Salam dari Indonesia
Ah yes, "Suna AI" (Description
Whats Next?Penfield mood organ? Dialling 333.
😂 He is like someone traveling on an airplane saying he knows how to fly. He is a mere passenger and so are these people too. I'm glad live music exists because recorded music will become completely irrelevant due to oversupply.
Besides I prefer the old way because of the huge amount of electricity and water these massive AI machine halls require to keep them running and cool.👎
What's next? I suppose we get what we deserve. Parade of fools. Prompt that 😂
Pardon my english, didn't use AI.
I loved it.
Can someone use your sound on TH-cam
people on here think they are real musicians making music :) wow you are just typing on your keyboards, no skill needed at all . ffs
thank you man, i love this app
Amazing
These 5 songs will shatter your expectations. 'Emerging Timeline Extended'? 'Binary Sunset'? They sound as revolutionary as they are.
Prepare to be amazed :)
Artificial Freedom 1 Tlusty Blant
Assassin from the central core time-lines Tlusty Blant
Emerging Timeline Extended Tlusty Blant

Enjoy music from AI perspective
✨
Absolutely terrible
Next do udio
Bravooo❤❤
Imagine this in couple month wow 🎉
You are that🎉🎉🎉🎉
It is not live music, just like a DJ is not live music….
É uma maneira incrível de democratizar a produção musical e torná-la acessível a todos! ❤
Soon music not made by AI will be weird
You know...to musicians this does not make any sense at all i think...
My brain is saying this is music by both of my lobes are ON and i´m thinking a lot rather than being rested. So no... i get why somebody who does not spend hours trying to pull something out of his soul would find this interesting but it does not make any sense at all.
it's just capitalism that want to milk the NPC people, as they are clearly the only ones that will like this and support it, sadly there are many of them these days, but again so there is in a movie... the rest of us just have to rise above it
DAY 1 USER OF SUNO AI
Bruh, it sucks 😂
We are cooked
Ill just stick with Garageband
Thank you for creating Suno, I'm so grateful.
🤡
i want love music please
I Love you Suno! love you Michel!
Trust Pilot shows some very contrasting experiences for those who pay. Not sure I'll risk a subscription.
This is my first time reading a comment section and wondering if maybe even half of these comments were written by a machine.
Why must everyone know how to make music? 🙄 it’s supposed to be art.
When lots of people are using it the quality declines. Paid members get priority for compute.
Oohh😯😲
Npc music for npcs lmao 😂
Mind blowing
awesome
Can't wait until they make a DAW A.I
What's that?
@@johnnemo4146 I think they mean a "Digital Audio Workbench". Its the interface music composers use on their computers to get things done for creating songs.
want to know HOW this works....anyone?
Steals data from real musicians
free fall and summer of suno are great
I am using this and needed to improve alot
Create songs using AI? 🤔
What about copyright?
@@abram730 it's not possible for them to grant copyright on something that is AI made...it's international law... go look it up
@@arziva1615 There is no international law against it. China and the UK already allow AI to hold copyrights on generative works.
@@arziva1615 I did look it up, and it's not. The EU doesn't rule the world, and they don't really have a logical argument that I can find.
i just started using suno a couple days ago and im absolutely floored at how good it really is yea some of the songs have kind of a robotic voice but man is it on point with the music the metal songs it can create are amazing and the lyrics for some of the prompts you can give it are hysterical I did one country song about a gay cowboy and it did not disappoint in any regard. seriously incredible stuff from this team of people. i could probably make a playlist of songs from this ai and no one would be the wiser that they arent actual songs. i am curious to know how the rights work to each song but who cares the fact that we can share these with everyone is truly beautiful so thank you to the team at SUNO.
This is one of the great technological developments in this world. I totally support this. Because in my opinion, this progress is not to take away human creativity as a basic human asset but to help humans to be more creative. Because for me the development of technological progress is also a blessing given by God to its creators. Thank you to those who found it. Salute.
0:40 you didnt make shid lmfao probally not even the lyrics lmfao
It’s a great technology things can change in the future in lot of positive ways
You love music, but not musicians.
