Hey, anytime you find yourself getting on some easy fishing where you starting to catch quite a few. Stay there and catch them for a while. That’s gonna make your confidence go up and your confidence will make your flyfishing success go up as it goes up so just find those easy spots and just shit the shit out of them till you catch a whole bunch and then move on and do the same thing for a while.
Tom, it looks like you have some kind of rubber hook keeper near the cork on that Orvis rod? Would you mind sharing what it is? I love my Recons but hate not having a hook keeper
Great fishing Tom. Your ability to spot (and catch) difficult fish is amazing. Lovely scenery too.
Stunning river mate, no wonder the French are good..... ;)
Looking good 🏞️🎣🏕️
A special session…Amazing. You made that look easy. Such stunning water, and those grayling are spectacular. Huge appreciation for sharing that Tom.
Appreciate the detailed equipment/gear descriptions that you always provide, many thanks and great video as usual.
My pleasure
Gorgeous water Tom. Oh, to have some grayling in Oz!

Hey, yes I have a Stonfo elastic ring just above the cork on all of my Orvis river rods for my hooks.
Cheers,
Tom
Hey Tom!
I was wondering what permits/licenses you need to fly fish the French rivers? I am heading that way next year. Cheers!
Matt
Mon dieu!
