    Really enjoy your mix of explanation and also times of silence so we get to be informed but also enjoy the sounds of the river and the bush. Nothing more peaceful than a running stream and the Aussie bush sounds.

    I love this river
    I only ever fish nymph on the dry because that's all I've ever been taught.
    You've inspired me to push on and learn the other methods mainly nymphing :)

    Yo Tim, love the vid, l went to the Steavenson, went to a sign saying river access but the gate has a private property sign! Cars parked there fishing….in the vault do people walk through?

    That is one hell of a lovely stream! Perfect for swinging wet flies? And I guess who cares about a few tables with fish like that-they are superb. :-)

    I find trout about 1 to 2 pound make great sizes for smoking. You should make a video about smoking trout. Great videos though. Perfect length of time you have earned a subscriber!

    Good stuff mate! I was out there on the Wednesday and the weather wasn't nearly as nice but still managed to get onto a nice big brown, a few big rainbows and a lot of little ones. How goods it to fish again!

    Hey Tom without a nymphing rod how would you fish that section this time of year? NZ strike indicator with two nymphs?
    I had no luck last week in Noojee but I’ve been hearing good things regarding the Stevo.

      I would definitely fish it nymph below dry, you will still catch them. I wouldnt use an indicator because they are still eating the dry. I have a nymph under dry video that I'll put up next week. But for a start fish a 2.5mm tungsten beaded nymph 70cm below a buoyant dry

      Tom Jarman Fishing as a buoyant dry, do mean a Tabanas pattern, or the CDC ball indicator fly?

    Great video To. Was there the other day but was so crowded couldn't find good water. Are you Czech nymphing here? Your rig video bit was a bit rushed but I thought it was a Czech set up?

    • @tomjarmanfishing3208
      @tomjarmanfishing3208  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yep the set up I explain in my Euro Nymph Gear Explained video

    Great session. Good info as well. Do you typically single nymph the riffle water, or double?
    Keep up the videos!

    • @tomjarmanfishing3208
      @tomjarmanfishing3208  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If the water is high and currents not overly complex I will double nymph it. If it was super skinny I'd single nymph it I reckon.
