Ever since this last sale I spent a little over $100 but I have come to realization that I would only buy makeup during the sale is to buy what ever I have ran out of and not to try new things. I have learned that I prefer what I like and to not try new things and them not workout until I have done all my research by that time I’m over the “new” product that I stick to my old faithful ones 😊
I like Patrick Ta the artist, a lot of respect, I buy some products from his brand… and I am not a fan not work great on me. Eyeshadows palettes mold… a lot of people report this, my friend her palette mold 😅 The packaging is messy, if you touch it you see everything. I can say many products are good, just not made for me and it’s ok, products are not bad for this. I am agree with you for the price, the duo aspects made the product less expensive except the new realse. The actual economy not help too. I buy my cream bronzer/contour biscuit Westman Atelier and my favorite blush mood exposure Hourglass I hit pan last week. I love your content, I saw many videos of you recently and I really enjoy it 💛 I subscribe 🙃
Thanks for sharing your insight! You have some very valid points here. I hope if they are shooting for luxury, they have more consistency in quality and price 🤞🏼
@ There are several companies in the "luxury" Tom Ford, Chantecaille, ..., if he wants to go down this avenue, he will have to change his marketing approach. In this type of market, attention to detail will be important, as at Westman Atelier, or Tom Ford, when you have one of their products in your hands, you have no doubt about the quality of the manufacturing.
Well I bought quite a bit during the Sephora sale in store and online because several items that I wanted was all limited edition some sold out that it came back I was afraid of not getting it there was a few things on one of their last sale I tried to hold out for and it sold out and never came back🤷
To be honest this whole conversation about Patrick Ta and these eyeshadows is so unnecessary in my opinion. Makeup is expensive, Patrick Ta is a nicer brand, if you don’t want to shell out that kind of money then don’t there are plenty other options out there, it’s just not that deep. 🤷🏼
@@cinabunable totally agree it’s not a big deal! The whole thing made me wonder why it was such a problem for so many since we see makeup at so many different price ranges. I think the whole thing is interesting in terms of marketing and consumer relationship 🤭
@ I agree! I just kept watching video after video I was like guys… hate to break it to ya but everything is ridiculously expensive and at the end of the day makeup is not a necessity 😅
I have to agree as well. I have always seen Patrick Ta as a luxury make up brand so the price seems reasonable for his brand especially with the quality and color stories
1st time encountering your YT short about Naturium, I immediately put it in my 🎯 cart and hit subscribe on 11/4/24. I’m 💜🩷🤍 your channel bc of honest review and you’re on our side as a consumer.
I think consumers are hitting the point where they are saying no and that the prices are raising to high. Patrick Ta isn’t the only brand getting hit by this. Charlotte Tilbury is another example. The dupe culture is growing exponentially due to prices rising above what consumers can pay. Makeup culture is shifting and more people are making smaller more curated makeup collections. Prices are getting so high that even influencers outside the major channels are cutting back.
You definitely have a point here. So many options at varying prices for people to choose from now, it makes sense to be more picky about what we spend our money on! I appreciate your insight on this
@ “Quality always will be essential to luxury” It is that the masses couldn’t afford the quality that made it luxury. luxury is losing its status as the quality that once set it apart from drugstore and midtier brands has greatly diminished in the beauty community. We can now get the same or better quality without spending hundreds of dollars. Luxury is becoming about brand name more than anything.
I didn’t notice this before, so I went to smell them after this comment and I did notice a stronger scent in my oldest ones. Not rancid but a stronger “lipstick” scent I guess. I couldn’t say when they started smelling stronger though since I just noticed 😕
@ByKristinaStudio I just know before there was no scent but now there is so it made me a bit worried. I'm sure it's because it's "clean" and lacks preservatives 😬
y u didn't mention the Kaja dewy blush? y do guys influencers tell ppl I love this and that and this and then u disregard??? all for the love of money ... ridic
Simply untrue. This video is about the products worth getting during the Sephora sale. A lot of products I use and love were purposely not mentioned in this video because they have better Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals. Kaja being one of them. As a beauty content creator, I use and test an immense amount of products. And not every product makes it into every video. Doesn’t mean I don’t like it.
Did I miss any MUST-HAVES that won't be priced better during BFCM? Let us know!
Gurl your timing is *perfect* 😭 I was WAITING for a vid like this 💕
@ awww yay! 🤍♥️
I love how you show application of a product and swatches in those videos ! A lot of people don't contain them but its really helpful
I’m glad! I find them helpful too so I enjoy including them when I can 😊
I agree everything you said about Patrick Ta.

Totally get that! It’s so easy to get caught up in the excitement, but sticking to your tried and true is always a good move!
Love the new One Size Foundation and think it’s the best new release foundation
I’m so curious about this one! It might just have to be my next foundation purchase
I agree with sephora collection eyeshadow! Wish i could try kulfis eyeshadow too 🥲
It's such a good one!
What was the shade of the Sephora Collection eyeshadow you're using? It's so pretty!

The Pta u can get all the shades on his site for 15% off then free full size gifts so its actually a better deal if u want a few of them
True!!
Can you recommend a hydrating but blurring primer for my dry, dehydrated but acne prone skin?
I really like the caliray so blown primer! And the hourglass veil primer

you guys act like these brands care. they literally do not want to be accessible to the masses. luxury demands exclusivity.
