A year ago, I made the purchase of a Ford Ranger Wildtrak Next Gen 4x4, marking my first venture into owning a car/pick-up truck. I have thoroughly enjoyed every moment with it and have absolutely no regrets.

agree ako sa sinabi mo na "if you like and love the car, just go for it, choose the car whats best for you, hindi sa ibang tao" kahit ano pang sabihin nila about mga issues sa reliability at resale value,... may ibang tao kasi pilit nilang e disappoint ka na bumili ng gusto mo car, which is not good kasi di naman sila yung bibili... iba iba ang taste ng tao... anyway, great review sana ma try mo yang wildtrak sa offroad... goodluck sa bago mong car :)

I agree with everything you said man! 😁 The word "car reliability" is based on how the owner maintain the car. Any car can break down if you didn't maintain it properly, it doesn't matter if it's a Toyota, Mercedes, BMW, Ford, Honda or anything. Because not all cars are build in the same way, and I hate when people didn't maintain their car properly then proceed to blame the car manufacture. I'm also not a brand snob. I like cars and appreciate cars from different types of car brands because not all cars are the same, all cars are great in their own way and that's what make them unique. There's always something for everyone else bc not all people have the same preference. Keep safe always. 😊👍❤️

True. Maintenance right on schedule. Mga Japanese fanboy puro reliable ang bunga-bunga nila. Ang ibig sabihin ng reliable sa Japs car is maraming parts available. Yan true yan. Sa amin ang Ford Everest 2007 until today is running.
Ford Ranger is a pretty good car, it’s for rugged driving. It’s sturdy for hauling heavy stuff but it’s good for long leisurely drives, too.
@@sealoftheliving4998for me it is absolutely correct because we have also ford everest that already 7years yo but until now it's looking new and in very good condition with out any repair except the changing of battery and tires.
@@sealoftheliving4998It's not about who's fanboys or not, or I don't know what else, there are world's statistics about reliability of brands, which are made by a very serious independent agency.
Like it or not, but these statistics aren't lying at all, and you'll find plenty of facts in real world and life. Ford is not even listed in the top 10 most reliable manufacturers.
Again accept it or not, but the top 10 is at 90% occupied by Japanese manufacturers.
Aside that, I mean there's literally another new recall launched by Ford recently in the Philippines, directly targeting Rangers and Everests vehicles. So I don't know who's biased or not, but facts aren't agreeing with all of you.
Even Americans living in Philippines are preferring to buy Japanese vehicles over USA ones. One of my American friend always have been in troubles with its Ford ranger, he bought a Toyota Fortuner to replace it.
I just got my very first Ford too. Its a ranger XLT and I love it! So many of my friends are saying to go for a Japanese brand instead of ford but I Still choose Ford. Its true what you say. "By the end of the day, It's still up to how you take care of you car."

what i also like sa ford is their warranty. by compartment. hndi sa buong kotse. like if may idinagdag kang accessories at tinap or splice yung wirings, yung electrical part lng maaaring ma void. yung iba like sa engine body cabin pasok pa rn. dont know if ganito dn sa ibang car maker dhil experienced ko kc b4 with other brands ay di lng nasunod ang pms sched ay void na ang warrnty sa buong kotse.
Hi, I am planning to buy a truck soon. First bet ko is Ranger but my friends are discouraging me coz of the myth about owning a Ford. Like, maintenance is costly. Parts expensive, etc. I really like the Ranger, the looks, the techs are way better compared to competitors. For me, value for money ang Ranger but just want to get opinions on the 'myths' of owning American cars. Thanks.
dont get discouraged and definitely choose what you really want 👍 if your buying a brand new vehicle like the ford ranger it really wont disappoint, big, comfortable great interior etc. 5 year warranty will give you peace of mind as well. I think some just hate ford in general or they have bad experiences maybe because they bought a pre owned ford vehicle or they didn’t really take care of the vehicle to begin with. my ranger is almost two years with no issues at all still using the original battery as well

Good day sir. napanood kona lahat ng videos nyo, napaka details ung mga videos. ang nagustuhan ko sa lahat is yung na compare nyo ung dalawang units which is ung Conquest at sa Wildtrak 4x2.
Gusto ko lng sana i request na gawan ng video about ano ano ung mga nagka problema or i mean mga un expected maintenance nyo sa Wildtrak. the conquest is wala pa ata kasi newly owned. Thank you sir.

My first vehicle i personally bought was a 1982 TOYOTA pick up 4x4. At that time my wife was driving a bought new 1980 Toyoya CELICA. Make story short, I had a great time with the TOYOYA Pick up 4x4 long bed base 2.4 liter 22 R 4 banger power plant..with a down draft WEBER carb and a header? this POS is a piece of a weekend toy..rolled it twice on the trail but to this day i'm still kicking......rich kids don't know shit..money talks, bull shit walks... I'm almost 70 but i drive a full specked JEEP WRANGLER RUBICON...on a nice sunday morning, i cruise in a 2009 chevy corvette ..I just bought a Next Gen FORD RANGER XL....My toy whenever I go to the Philippines on vacations

What?! I just watched the ford sport 4x2 video and you already sold it? I'm currently researching before I buy myself my 1st brand new vehicle. I just drove a Ford Everest manual and I fell in love. Hehe. It's so smooth. But I got discouraged when I saw the prices. I think I'm not a pick-up type of girl (lol😅) but I'm considering it now. I can get a 4x4 automatic for less than 2M. I think I'm gonna do it. 🤞🤞

Bout to purchase really soon and I'm choosing between the Ranger Wildtrack/Sport or the Navarra VL/Calibre X.. May I know why you didn't consider the Navarra considering you mentioned that your major consideration is comfort (I believe the suspension of the Navarra is a lot better multilink vs the leaf springs of the Ford). Thanks in advance for your response
the reason would be I also have a terra thats one . and honestly out of all the pick up for sale today in terms of looks, space, tech and even ride I personally think the new ranger just feels better to drive plus im not using it to haul stuff . more like a lifestyle pick up. but it can haul if needed 😊
@@ArmenianFilipino7 Honestly, it depends where you're living and driving in the Philippines, when you're talking about being confortable on roads. The Navara would still be globally the most comfortable, and nice ride to drive everywhere in Philippines, thanks to its different suspensions setup.
Ok for the look as it is a subjective thing, everybody having different tastes.
After clearly, the people who are going for the ranger, are the techs addicts who wanna got the Tesla style screen and other things (no offense made towards anybody btw).
As you said, you're only a city or highway driver, not going on off-roads conditions or anything else. Many people are buying pickup trucks nowadays as a family or everyday car, not for business or hauling anything.
I see like that, we're in the smartphone generation, and people are looking cars as a giant smartphone, rather than a car nowadays, prioritizing techs over practicability or other things.
@jaytampadong : you're right on the Navara suspensions, specially when you know the roads conditions in Philippines, many damaged roads or unfinished roads projects, DPWH isn't very efficient government department.
Navara is also a well proven platform now since 2015, no big surprises to come. Where the Ford ranger recently have been again victim of problems, and Ford is recalling rangers and Everests vehicles.

Hi I asked that at ford makati they said its fine as long as you dont change the suspension parts it may vary from other casas asked before you purchase :)

Ewan koba kung bakit panay nalang paninira nila sa ford yung xls ranger ko na 2016 kopq nakuha 250 milage na sya wala naman akong major issue, change oil lang every 10k, yung wiper ko pinlatan ko noong 2021, palit battery noong 2020 yun lang ok pa naman

Am I missing something, it seems all Rangers in the Phillipines do nit come with a trailer hitch and tow package and it's not listed in the accessories either.. Then again I do not see any trucks towing anything in the Phillipines.?????
yup thats a separate accessory :) I think most buyers of the new gen ranger are leisure trucks instead of work horses

Kung magbbrandnew kayo SUV man o Pick up, for me the best choice will be Ford. Top 1 talaga sa lahat ng reviews ang Next Gen Ford, mapa technology, interior, specs and features, talo lang pgdating sa maintenance pero kung brandnew nmaan hndi mo poproblemahin yun basta marunong ka mag alaga. Pero ibang usapan kapag 2nd hand or older model, better choice is Toyota or Isizu in my opinion. Realiability, Engine at fuel consumption ang titingnan mo pg 2nd hand kasi madalas di mo naman alam pano ginamit ng prev owner ang unit, atleast bumawi k n lng sa tibay at availability ng parts. Ford Ranger owner here, nakuha ko ng 2nd hand tapos hndi pa mrunong mag maintenance prev owner kc babae 🤣 aminado ako sobrang mahal ng nagastos ko sa mga repair. Nakakapagsisi haha pero still looking forward na makapag upgrade sa Next Gen Ford Raptor. ❤️

Mas maganda ang three fold bed cover sa pick up dahil yung may roller according to my mechanic mas madaling masira ang handle at nabubungi ang panels sa kakahatak at dapat lagi mo nililinis ang roller guide madalas malagyan ng alikabok at dahon kya minsan nagbabara tapos pag pwersa mo hatakin nasisira at bumibigay ang handle di tulad ng three fold pwede mo pang tangalin ang buong cover kung may ilalagay kang malaking bagay tulad ng motorcycle para magkasya

if youre just using it to drive from city to other city thats alright, but to US offroad users we cannot agree that a 2.0 engine which is only for sedans uses are able to get us in to muddy, rocky and flooded areas of the mountains. FORD 2.0 ONLY RELIES ON ITS TURBO its engine 2.0 is a BIG NO.
true bigger displacement would be best for hardcore off roading 👍
Really what about the Jeep Rubicon with a 3.8 mini van engine before the pentastar 3.6. Tires, lifts, locking diffs, extra low gears in 4L, as well as drivers ability are vital. HP and torque alone is not enough. Been watching 4x4 series from Australia real off roaders 4x4. 2 of their vehicles are 50 yr old farm trucks plowing through water, mud. I would bet they have no more hp or torque than the 2.0. That ecoblue if tuned can get approx 260hp. Oh I forgot gearing. Saw a Jeep with 4.10 gears struggle, and one with 5.38 just crawled right up the same muddy hill. The use test the aussies did the jeep gladiator could have beaten the ranger, Hilux, Triton. In 2wd. It was a joke. Now what I don't understand is why are Jeeps so damn expensive. Only thing I can figure is made in USA. Where Ranger hilux assembled in Thailand and PH. I would buy a Jeep again but not when the price is twice as much.

@@mlcorreos Hi to be honest I had 4x4 vehicles before but I never once used the 4x4 system thats my reason . light off roading 4x2 is capable. plus maintenance in the long run will be cheaper without the 4x4
