Love this boat. Want one but they never show up for sale where I am located. Dealer also claims they don’t sell or get many requests for the tiller config. However, tiller for this layout seems perfect. I may buy a new one, sell the mercury and put a Suzuki 30 on it.
Looking at a 2017 with a 20 hp motor (don't care about power seeing as I'll ne on mostly electric). My question is how comfortable is it fishing with 3 people?
It would be nice of Lund to raise up their bow casting decks enough in relation to the gunwales to satisfy those who might want to flip for bass on occasion.
James, that is one reason why we LOVE our newer Lund. We traded this in for a bigger Lund. An 1875 Pro V Bass with a Mercury 150 pro xs. The new one is tailored directly for bass fishing and both front and rear casting decks are just like a fiberglass bass boat would be. It is also a lot wider and longer than this 1600 fury was, with a better hull. It handles the larger great lakes better. Plus it has 125 more horsepower. ;)
We ended up trading it in to the dealer for a small loss. We were in a hurry to get into a larger Lund last season. For reference, we were asking around 10k, and got close to that (slightly lower) at trade in.

Hey just curious what your top speed was with the 25hp?
With two adult Males we could hit 20mph with the right conditions sometimes higher, sometimes lower.
