Mad respect for Mr. Tyson is shown here. In a real life fight, yah, that man would be hard to beat. They are both expert martial artists, in their own styles.
They probably became lifetime friends. This is hearsay, but Mike almost killed Donnie, and Mike also broke a finger filming the scene. Those experiences invoke brotherdom
There have been a lot of good ones, but this one, Tyson vs. Yen, was legendary!! Legendary, by the way, means unreal, for context. My favorite part about it was we saw a boxer, a master at boxing, fight in a place that was not a ring, he got kicked, and he fought from the floor. Tyson even threw a kick here and there, and grappling was part of the fight, because the gloves were off!! It was a great scene, cut short only because _the character_ Mike Tyson played, a fictional character, no less, set a clock. Good thing he did! My favorite part of the fight was what happened after it ended. Mike Tyson's character picks up his little girl and tells her she will get a new balloon. Ip Man walks away. The two of them were about to send each other to the hospital, but they stopped when the clock hit zero. And that was some of the most badass choreography there ever was!
@@AJHyoton Nope, the best part was at 2:50 when IP Man gets back up into his combat stance and a couple seconds later when Mike Tyson rolls his eyes in resignation that he hasn't won the fight just yet.
It is so heartwarming to know that IP MAN'S story will always be known. And, also that his martial arts legacy will live through many more generations.
I've met Mike Tyson, and when he was boxing, his greatness is apparent. His aura is similar to Vageta in dragon ball, where there's something beneath, and it's intimidating; but you rile him up you're dead.
they went a bit slower than the most of the time for Mike to not miss too much the power of those fists. If you watch Flashpoint 2007 you'll get the idea how fast this guy can move. amazing stuff.
I grew up watching Donnie Yen way before he ever made it to Hollywood and never heard him speak English until now. I am surprisingly impressed at how well he speaks it.
He has an American citizen, and now i forget what state, but u can look it up he lives there with his wife and three kids, so yeah, is English is perfect. I love Donnie Yen. I think is 17 years now he's living in America.
@@luanedwards1208 Yeah he moved to Boston when he was like 10. Had American citizenship for some number of years growing up. Now I think he just has Hong Kong citizenship and that's it.
Donnie knows tai chi, Boxing, Kickboxing, Jeet Kune Do, Hapkido, Mixed martial arts, Taekwondo, Karate, Muay Thai, Wrestling, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, Hung Ga, Sanda, Judo, Shaolin kung fu, wudangquan, Wing Chun, and Wushu. Jackie Chan and Jet li even said Donnie might be the best, He also blocked one of Tyson's punches with his elbow and fractured his fingers

Donnie: What if Mike doesn't go 123 and goes 231... then I'm 💀...😂😂😂
Donnie ain't no Dummy!
the more you learn about it the more you understand that mike always trained with number combinations. so going 123 probably very reminiscent for him
@@apblolol left hook, right cross, left uppercut is 123 in case you wondered.

Durn Skippy! Donnie Yen could not defeat any of Mike's opponents and Mike could not have done Flash Point, but both of them rool in this flick!
Ip man would’ve been past tense. He would kick many an ass but tyson… that’s a tall order
Watching these two is like watching Bruce Lee and Muhammad Ali.
They are their successors
They wish lol
Muhammad Bruce Lee
Not up there yet.. 😂
Bruce knew Ali.
They look like a couple of good friends sitting there talking about the movie
They probably became lifetime friends. This is hearsay, but Mike almost killed Donnie, and Mike also broke a finger filming the scene. Those experiences invoke brotherdom
That was one of the best choreographies I've seen in martial arts films in a very long time.

God bless Mike Tyson and Donnie Yen. Senegal, West Africa.
God bless Senegal. God bless Africa. God bless the world, and God bless you!
Man, it's amazing seeing 2 legendary people in the same room talking about the film. Ip Man 3 is 1 of my favorite martial arts films.
Gotta love how Donnie is so humble and is excited to entertain. He doesn't have a big tough guy ego.
Feel like the interviewer hasn't seen alot of Donnie Yens movies. Donnie Yen is a very humble guy though.
Donnie Yen is a man in his fifties with the mind and body of a man in his 20's.
Mike acting all bashful, and shy when they're talking about him, and how great he is was great!
That ain't acting! That's how he is! That's why I love him! He is honest. What you see is what you get!
these two are legends. Donnie Yen And Mike Tyson are the best. loved the film
We need more movies with these guys together
I am glad we got this one in this crazy, worka day world!
With same director. It is difficult to get the perfection they got in that fight scene. Full credit to everyone involved.
Mike Tyson is a legend but with time he became also an unbelievably fantastic person. Very emphatic and gentle 😊😊
Love these 2 great guys fully respect each other .. hopefully they can work together in the future

Iron Mike seems to have a really zen demeanour.
That’s what overcoming your ego does to you
He is getti g more into philosophy, psychedelics, and meditation.
What does zen mean

Donnie yen and mike Tyson both men are so humble and 2 guys i would definitely have on my side in a fight
I love Mike's humility
Donnie Yen older than Mike Tyson
Crazy how young he looks
fantastic explaination
Mike was a beast in the fight scene, absolutely superb.
The character portrayed by Mike was... questionable, but the fight made up for all the questions. That was very pleasant to watch.
thanks a bunch for watching
I'm laughing all the way through this interview!!! 😂😂😂 History is creating here!🙌🏼 Legendairies!
one of my bucket list items is to meet Mike in my life
Same here. I'd like to get some boxing instruction from him. At least the current version of him lol, the 80s Mike was one scary mofo 😂
Not Mike getting all giggly and shy talking about himself being in the movie 😂
Mike is like likable and humble
next ip man vs. the logans

The last thing Donnie wanted was to catch an accidental Mike hook 😅
