I think the reason we love kdramas so much is that they portray love in a most innocent, pure and emotional way that we can relate as ordinary people. They use camera angles, light, music in a beautiful way to capture the sensual and emotional attraction without being explicit which western dramas mostly fail. That’s why we feel the love and get addicted to them. The only good side of Covid for me, hands down, is discovering Korean dramas/ films. I have learnt so many Korean words just watching kdramas . ❤️

When the camellia blooms was definitely the best out of all of these. Probably the best 2019 k-drama I've seen. The story was really good and kept you on your toes until the end, all the characters were well-developped even the minor ones and, honestly, best main couple : the main actors had amazing chemistry and the male lead character was incredibly compelling. I often get bored by the main love-interest after a few episodes and, in k-drama, scenes between the two romantic leads generally get uninteresting once their feelings are mutual, but here you root for them until the end and the earnestness of the two characters is very refreshing. I hadn't seen that actor in anything since Inheritors and he definitely improved a lot. Gong Hyo-jin is always good but I think that was her best role yet and she never looked that great before - they really succeeded in making her look amazing in every shot despite having a very simple style.

He trully shines as Youngshik, a loving and kindhearted man, you don't understand how complicated is to act like a good person, his character is too normal but full of characterization and personality, his expressión and lines on point. Plus his chemistry with Hyojin is crazy.
When the camellia blooms is the best drama of 2019 for me
Thr moment I saw Love Alarm, please hurry with season 2

the whole 16 episdoes of "Her private life" was SWOON WORTHY!!
That scene from Search with the ASMR kiss had me swooning XD
Yooo that was such a natural way, they didn't film it with different angles and slow motion, stopping for the eye widening etc etc he just went for it, it was so hot
Her private life best kdrama for 2019 for me
Hit thumbs up if you agree with me hehhe
This is the best kdrama. The script is not predictable 👌🏿

Tis a shame, they did not include Extraordinary You in this, it made me swoon so many times.
Edit: I know that Extraordinary You is not included because it's not on Netflix. Thanks for all the replies.
