Good evening brother no fuse never blows up. because the startup resistor is very high value resistor. it provides very low current (it is noramlly in milliamperes) if zener diode gets short circuited, it will not allow to build voltage on VCC capacitor if Bias diode or vcc capacitor is damaged, it will never be a cause of fuse burning
Thank you for the reply 🌹, so on most cases the fuse will blow up if there is a short in bridge or before bridge? I see it alot in videos you make. Thx
Thanks a lot for this very well explain lesson. I have had, and still have, several smps that i couldnt fix. 😅 I am going to study them with this material. Hugs from Mexico
Hie sir I am Aaron, and one of your followers of your Channel. Thanks you for sharing this information we're learning well. Please may you teach us how to read schematics of audio amplifier especially where multiple detached diagrams are involved. Best regards
Any schematic is the same to read. It is simply parts joined by wires and nothing more. Look at the parts and check datasheet to see what it does then follow wires to see how it is connected. That is all you can get from a schematic at basic level of understanding. To know how the device works you need a deep level of electronics knowledge that can not be given in a short video. To learn, get devices and find schematics for it then follow the schematic and at the same time check the device circuit board. To troubleshoot any device start at the power input. For amplifiers, they can get very complicated and most of the time for those they are nearly impossible to fix. For more simpler amps, if power is present but no output there are many things to check and this is where the schematic comes in use. Find output on schematic and trace backwards, often to op-amps or power amp chips, connected capacitors, resistors, diodes, transistors, mosfets etc. Watch more videos and read books about electronics, then watch and read more. If that bores you then repairing is not for you, toss item in bin and buy a new one ;-)
Question? Where Or How Are Locating The Schematics To The Power Supplies: What Are Your Sources For Obtaining Source Schematics To The Power Supplies . This Is My One Biggest Problem To Repairing These Types Of Electronic Devices..... THANKS For Your HELP
Obtaining a schematic diagram of a specific power supply of any brand is probably not always possible. Alternatively you can find a similar schematic diagram from the typical application circuit diagram from the particular switching ic datasheet which is being used. Otherwise you'll have to trace and reverse engineer the power supply you have.
Just search model of psu or board numbers printed on pcb. If nothing is found then not available. Especially for newer items there are never any schematics. This is why you should always keep older electronic items and repair them if possible because new items are made in a way (on purpose) so that they are more difficult or impossible to fix.
Good morning from Spain, is there any way or way to know the voltage of an SMD capacitor once it is off the board? Thank you and greetings, (I don't speak English, I will read the translation of the video)
Hello sir can you explain output voltage fluctuation about 5 volt. Welding machine output fluctuation between 54 and 60 volt. İs it problem or normal? Thanx
The most common way is to inject voltage using a bench psu with current limiting. Do that responsibly after you educate yourself how to correctly do it. Watch Sorin at Electronic Repair School for more info.
Google search the 3842 ic or other swps ic such as tl494 and you will get "sample" smps circuits. This is what Haseeb typically uses when none are available. OR take a "screen shot" during the video.
Thank very much Prof, in 10:35 cap+ diode+ zener if shorted, it should blow up the fuse? Much appreciated 🌹.

Çok faydalı bir kanal değil mi ? Adam hem elektronik tamiratı hem elektronik tasarımı çok iyi biliyor .
Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge with us Sir. But I want to where you get the circuit diagrams.
Thank you for sharing
thanks very much sir...
