They’re on my college campus now, and they are cutest things. They patiently wait at crosswalks, go on about their business, and try their best to stay out of the way. The only they’ve been scary is when they detect something that really wasn’t there, correct course, and start driving towards you.
How do you know that? Maybe they have the ability to see ghosts and paranormal entities. Robots are easier to posses than humans so it’s in the robots best interest to respect the poltergeists or risk being taken over.
Ikr, I saw a video of someone running over one of these with a car while it was trying to cross the street 🥺 it even retreated because it got very damaged and the stupid person didn’t even care
They’re at Bowling Green State now, and my sister and I have been following them around campus. The newspaper said there’s 30 of them which will operate from 7:30 AM to 1 PM and take care of 500 orders a day. They look both ways and wait patiently before crossing the road, they have a flag that can light up to signal that they’re there. I feel like the future is within our grasp, WE CAN DO THIS
Starship Technologies, a company founded by an Estonian with its engineering operations in Tallinn. An Estonian by the name of Ahti Heinla who happens to be one of the developers of Skype (along with two other Estonians, Priit Kasesalu and Jaan Tallinn). Amazing how much one small country like Estonia has delivered, and still is delivering, IT solutions to the world. The app seems quite similar to the Bolt (formerly known as Taxify) app for ordering a taxi to take you from point A to point B. Bolt is yet another Estonian company with success in areas that Uber has not been able to access or manage.
That is sooo Friggin Cool - now this is stuff i want to see - they way of the future... I like it! it will work best on campuses - like school or work.
So the people getting some exercise and saving some money by visiting the cafe in person will have their orders put on hold when someone orders with the robot? Money certainly talks!
So my question is if ordering in the app not only allows people to skip the queue but also get priority food preparation, why would anyone queue up - surely then everyone will just use the app and you’ll get the queue issues there?
Pros:Testing New Technologies help us lived easily and cheaper Cons :Many would leave unemployed and if many robots replaces humans they would be unemployed and eventually everyone becomes poor or rich
Instead of being a delivery man, people should learn to be engineers so they could fix the robots. Making some jobs obselete does not remove other jobs that need to be done. 150 years ago 90% of people were farmers. Now it is less than 10% tractors made it happen, food still comes and farmers just found new jobs to apply their time to.
Robot. DELIVERY ON ANY college campuses would be a great thing in any college that apply for it in any State as long as it is on on the campus here on the campus chef's cooking 🍳 there.
the future is here dont run away from it accept it and realize its time to grow to a new level everything must go through a phase of evolution the question is will you
@@jamisojo thats hwat ur not getting there wont be unemployment because there wont be a space for that category it wil be robots and efficient beings doin all the work and humans having to find true purpose with themselves
The courier can not spit on it unless the robot was designed to do so. There are still people who make the contents tho, and they do all kinds of things. ALL KINDS
Did anyone see the one where it thanked someone for getting it un stuck? That’s a feel good video
I wonder if it's got some sort of AI on it? I can't find any explanation on how it knew what was happening and how it said thank you.
-Omega Zero- ya i saw it

I don't know why but i found it so cute ... like a baby or a little chicks especially by crossing road hahaha
Cute estonian baby! :)
why do they look so.. cute? I’m finding robots on wheels delivering food cute. I need to get my shit together.
they have these little robots at asu now. I love seeing them zoom around campus :)
These are honestly the best and most refined practical design I’ve seen. It’s like a mini space rover.
These are all over ASU! I see like 3-4 of these every day
wow!!! so cute robot
I love these little guys. They're so cool.
It’s too cute to be harmed, it needs to go hella fast just in case in an emergency
My college has these on campus. I haven't used them yet but I will soon 😃
Saw my first one yesterday. Very cool. Maybe one day I will use the service.
Wow, just like regular delivery, only you need to come down and greet him!
Automating social isolation one step at a time. TY.
wait, so the robot lids are electronically locked? That’s smart
Our technology is exciting.
The Coco delivery bots are much cuter. I saw them whizzing around Santa Monica this evening. So cool and so cute!
I am living in Estonia ,, it is a normal scene to see robots walking in the street ,,, So cute :D
I wonder when it's my turn to witness these little guys roaming around
Wow! Viva Estonia!
So cute I want one as a pet 😊
Very polite little gentlemen
Someone get these at UMASS
If you give them weapons it's basically Terminator but in real life
I hope, that this Service comes to more European countries ❤ Like Germany or so… 😢
Lol saw two of these on the university of Houston's campus 2 days ago, felt like I was in a movie lmao
I love them. They’re so cute and I see them at my college campus

Cute ❤️❤️❤️❤️
How difficult would it have been to build in a zapper or taser on unauthorized entry.
That's just awesome.
Quá tuyệt vời, chúc gia đình con sức khỏe và hạnh phúc.
I always wondered what these were and why they've been popping up all over college campuses these days
heater and cooler within the bot?
do you use freon and a pump or something disposable?
This is nothing like the Terminator movies!
Chúc c Mây năm mới nhiều sức khoẻ và thật thành công ạ
Seen alot of these in Purdue campus.
Every time I see one of things, I keep thinking Chewbacca is gonna scream at it and scare it away like he did to that little droid in Star Wars.

I wonder what the failure rate on these little guys is. It’s really awesome but there are always mistakes to be made!
Even kids can order just like in school cafeteria yay
C’est mignon et à la fois flippant
They're kinda like real-like mouse droids

Is working like these robot long time ago in China
Can't wait until these "cute" autonomous robots will have autonomous machine guns mounted on them
Wooow it's like Uber eats without people jobs
a glimpse of future
What a world where were calling Robots cute and having dialect with them
There are many sensors on it
What about stairs?
First question, can it deliver beer? Go ahead, take my money now!
Cool 😎
Just saw a few of these lil guys working lol.
Awesome; but let’s please employ people, not replace them with robots
Our city actually has these robots which is cool i guess
In Northampton UK they deliver around the area for the local supermarket
So my question is if ordering in the app not only allows people to skip the queue but also get priority food preparation, why would anyone queue up - surely then everyone will just use the app and you’ll get the queue issues there?
We’re turning into the movie WALL-E
Was just at Purdue and one of these cute little guys tried to run over me cuz the sensors didn’t catch me lmao.

Dont worry, industry is not as stupid as you think.
They usauly do, just like we will speed up Uber eats and GrubHub orders
Much like the Drive Thru at MacDonalds and elsewhere, but it is not written in stone.
It makes me sad, the other day my dad saw one that had either fallen or been pushed off a bridge. :’(
How meny cost in this Robotic sarvice system all
Since it’s only for this campus it must be reliable
Do robot food delivery get tip from customers?

Great idea. This will be big blow for uber eats and the likes once they are into full scale deployment.
