- The Tears of the Tyrant Update includes some great buffs to some classes...and not so much love for others. What are some of the best and worst classes to play in PvE? This tier list will cover my experiences playing all these classes on various accounts.

Somehow I noticed that, magic doram is not included in this video. I am a magic doram main since day one, as far as I observed, the magic doram sometimes can even outshine some genos, I do alot of damage in different instances and doing alot of damage particularly in PML 3rd flood. I hope next time, magic doram will be included in your videos. ^_^
the elf do not think would be a good PVE seems more pvp, utility like, Thor on the other hadn even with the damagge reduction on wind seems good (not like rath) but good, i would wish thor gets an update before release since he is the nogu hero, and what made nogu great was the rune that ignore defense, so in exchange for making thor not that unkillable (like rath) having higher DPS with IG def rune would make sense, also once mvps get updated to be inflicted status wonder if the cast delay from thor will make some instances more enjoyable
I actually noticed that your damage as an Inferno Armor is a lot lower that it should be. Perhaps skills or stat distribution? I think you have have more deposit than me, but I am curently dealing like 10 times that to the PSR dragon.
im glad stellar hunters are going up rather than for afk farming. was my first class when starting up and love how its making a ocmeback
Can we have a 3rd version of yhe Tier list once Thor emerge? It would really help us to know if we need to shell out money to get him (as free c.voucher doesnt work apparently)
As SH main user, I think AA SH should go to C. There was huge buff, but still weak and bad survivality.
I pretty sure that PD will be way better at the following buff. PD is the real bowman class.

Thank you for the tier list! I have just started playing recently and became a Divine Avenger yesterday but I struggled quite a bit with Rifts and farming. From your video it looks like either Stellar Hunter, Light Bringer, or Doram are better beginner class. Which would be better to get my account "started"?
I have recommended doram for many people. That does well in farming, PvE, and PvP. Great tools for a party. I found lightbribger wasn't as good for continuous DPS, which is needed in a lot of instances these days. I have played Doram in 3 accounts and it feels good at different levels from f2p to pay to win.
If you plan to play for a long time, investing jn SH would be the best choice, but you need to find a way to get help for weeklies, and you can’t get immediate return as your dmg in weeklies is really low but you will get a chunk of money everyday
Saint would be the ideal job. Gets you a spot in every good guild out there. Remember you can always farm later. Securing your weeklies is much more efficient than starting a Stellar Hunter account. Majority of the good guilds that actually run consistent weeklies are the top the guilds so by being a Saint would be ideal. Competitive and ambitious guilds at the top don't really welcome Stellar Hunters unless you plan on playing a trapper build which is also ideal for the guild as it is vital in PVP. At the end of the day I would go for Saint. Go tank and get that Blessing rune. No handbook required and people will get you to join weeklies.
What do you think about magic ninja? Is it good? And what tier? Because i think is flexible with izayoi for reduce cast time, and can heal it self + using shadow for decoy and big area magic attack
mage ninjas make almost the same DMG than slayers, but they are paper.
from the worst to the best mage dps u have:
1: AM
2: Ninja mage
3: slayer
4: Genos
5: mage doram. this one make more than others even only with catnip meteor. but people don't know they make the double of DMG because the dps metter from the game don't detect the UFO and corn gattling as ur own dmg, but if u wanna test it, just appear on DMG chart on ur dummy at home. u will notice it. in my case, I make 2.200k DMG per minute with catnip, and UFO makes 3.000k per minute.
don't put the occultist on the tier list because u need a lot of conditions to make a good DMG. but if u love it, just use it.
I definitely think Ronin/Inferno Armor is underrated. While in the past it didn't compete with other classes, now with the introduction of the recent buffs and new instances I find my Ronin outdpsing all other classes. Even Rath & Genos. 😮
I will try out ronin more. I have had a few people say they do very well with it, so I will revisit it. I just bought some new gear for it, so I can see its true potential
I switched from valky to ronin for airship and boy does it hit like a truck! Improved by a solid amount and still synergizes with dark conversion... Really surprised how it used to be bad but sneaky nerfs moved it up in tier.

Knight Player since game released here, since new release of new cards from previous and recent update, RM can scale slightly bit better by using and combining new cards together (Joel + Whitestar Knight + Saboteur card)
By combining those new cards, not only RM can benefit from Atk, M.Atk and M.Def but now also from Vit (for extra Crit Damage + Atk + M. Atk + Auto Attack) and Max Hp (for extra Atk and M. Atk) but also slightly better tank by switch from Str Int Luk to Vit Int Luk, and still have better damage
Best of all, if you buy all 4 cards (Joel + Saboteur + 2 Whitestar Knight) it still cost much cheaper than single 1 Drake cards and you can use it both for PVP and PVE if you have tight budget
Those are some great tips. I will try to get those cards on the beta server to try it out. I am glad the new cards could make RM stronger. Also I am happy you continue to find new tech for RM :)
@@WobblyWallaby it's just bit better but at least there's still some improvement other than depending on BCC. Besides I just happened to have all those cards so I'm lucky I can test those cards in effect
It's also give RM a more flexible choice for gacha and headwear deposits since max hp now also add to m.atk and atk thanks to new cards

couldn't put it any other way as well haha but in terms of highly sought after in instances, I'd put rath, genos, saint right up S tier. as a bonus DA is S tier as capable DAs are quite rare nowadays

Unfortunately Nidhogg became unplayable for me in the new WSA instance, mostly because of the dark convert strategy, so it went from A to B. At the same time this strategy elevated Saint to S+, next to Rathgricy. They're the absolute must-haves in the party.

Hey Wobbly what's your opinion regarding the Rathgricy nerf in the CBT update ? I want to know your thoughts about it.
In my opinion, If they really intend to nerf Rathgricy in the main servers then it would look like they're cash grabbing players at this point. So many people including myself spent money for the desired runes just to get it to 7/7 because of the QoL it offers. I think by nerfing Rathgricy also defeats the sense of achievement because of the pain it took to get it to 7/7. If devs want upcoming jobs to take the spotlight then they would need buff those classess not nerf every classes once they release a new one.

One thing would be a nerf on a S tier class that has ups and downs, and could go down to A or B tier any moment. Rathgricy, if possible, deserves a tier on her own, as even Wobbly said. She need to be nerfed to, atleast, be just as good as other tier S classes, and they need to buff tier D/C/B to tier A. Things would be better if there wasnt such huge underperforming classes and a "nobrainer class" as polar opposites.
@@KayoKronnus I totally agree. I thought Rathgricy would be a unique job that even F2P players and low spenders can enjoy the QoL it offers. This is basically the ony class that if you ever got it to 7/7 wether completely F2P or spent money to get the core runes that the effort made and money spent is totally worth it. It's like acquiring a total package quality product but devs decided to tone it down just so upcoming jobs could overtake the quality Rathgricy offers. Rathgricy is not broken or OP as people think. It all boils down to the amount of money spent on the character to make it broken and OP. It's just sad that Rathgricy could be a perfect baseline to buff other underperforming jobs so it could catch up with legend instances. Since devs plan to tone it down I don't think we will ever get out of the meta cycle. Sooner or later they will create a job beyond S tier and have to repeat this cycle again.
I think the right term is "balance" not literally nerf tho, jorm and rath is obviously OP right now, no cd Bod on rath is insane, while jorm dmg output is insanely high, the meta right now is hero class>legacy class which is sad
the adjustment on rathgricy doesn’t affect performance in most of the old content. The only times rathgricy gets less damage is if airship has senile, if void has senile, or if oracle has sandstorm. I think this is fine because they could have done a real nerf like they did with nogu that affected all content… they added a ton of skill cooldown.
@@kerps5398 It's not OP. A non whale Rathgricy can be easily taken down by almost any job. You're over reacting. Any job is OP as long as you whale on it. It's not just Rathgricy.

I agree with most of your ranks aside few: Jormun can put really nice burst and be used well in legend instances, for sure he's better that last tier. Nogu even though he's still newbie friendly is definitely not S tier. Atm I would put him in the mid A tier at same. Opposite with Inferno Armor - he's now really strong, works great in WSA and therefore I would put him in S tier

I will look into Jormun and Inferno Armor more. I had others mention how they should be higher so I'll look into those builds more.
I am a Jor and I do the highest damage in 3f and other instances. This means it always depends on the player's playstyle.
I would still rank the Inferno Armor Higher for PvE. By the way the Inferno Armor also benefits from magic attack just like Rathgricy. Its damage formula uses attack, magic attack and vit (with Vit being the most important) and it also has Sink or Swim to benefit from magic defense. I currently use both Inferno Armor and Rathgricy but my DPS as an Inferno far exceed that of when I play as Rathgricy, and for that reason I only play as Rathgricy when I can't survive as an Inferno Armor. Also as an Inferno Armor in PvE I normally end up as the main DSP even with Rathgricies in the party. I can currently solo Museum Lengend 1st and 2nd floor, Lost Island 1st and 2nd floor with both classes, and also PSR as a Ronin (I haven´t tried to solo it as a Rathgricy but it would most likely take more time since it has lower DPS).
Thanks for your input. A few people mentioned how good it is. I bought some ronin gear and I will retest it in legend to see how it goes. I will also reroll the runes.

@@fliprince07 There are several here on youtube. Perhaps you can look for the one from FLyTuT since that is in english, but I personally use two fire damage accesories and HP Alight lv 9. Try not to take any guide at face value, you should always test for yourself to find what’s best for your character.

I wanted to reject the meta and still play my solar dps... then i saw my damage (even tho i have i guess decent deposit). For PVE I mainly use (in order) my saint and magic doram but still find it hard sometimes to solo instances. I'm just glad i have friends who have S tier jobs lol.

Nice list! I think you can probably add an S+ tier list and have Rath just be the only one there lol. Also, we already know SBX sucks at pve so it's fine if you don't even mention it lmao
Sbx ist strong at airship
I play rath 7/7 pretty decent eq+ 10-12s till prefer my old begetter magic or even hybrid with lowest invest tho.
Overal team dps increase with begetter, if know what beget can do many player gonna love this job.
Instance clear time 1-2 minute faster with begett, compare with rath in team.
Rath give more damage mitigation, party gonna take their time dealing damage and easily survive just like divine avenger.
But damage wise, vanilmirth+eleanor/bayeri surpass rath.
Not to mention many debuff on enemy.
Preferable with all properly build party member, they always survive just need faster clearance time 😊
Agree, my begetter can solo ANY MVP with 30% depo unlike rath with 7/7 runes.

I'm using tk for pml lil purgatory ttl. rath in ora psr airship. When im lazy i do play saint in ec semi afk haha.. sniper for farming and 1-100 for the useless weekly haha..

I think he is B. Sorry for forgetting him. My problem with him is the phase damage being too slow. Phase 4 is amazing, but before that it is too slow. So it isn't great for board hunting. Instances are a bit too slow too. Other classes can hit hard right away

Even though Rathgricy has a nerf in future updates, it is still strong in Legend instances and WSA. 2 seconds cooldown of Blade of Order is not bad! Only cd debuff is the real problem on Oracle and Rook 2f CML etc. Maybe they nerf Rathgricy in PvP because it's so OP.
But let's see after Rathgricy's Nerf patch if he is still strong in instances just like NoGu in his prime!

at this moment, people use Nidhogg at the wrong way. Nidhogg is a dps support. u need use it as DPS gear using skills to support. as ur heal, shields, etc get strong with ur DMG.
and Magical doram is the most underrated magic class and people don't know is the mage that most DMG do at this moment. even X2 or X3 than Genos. I'm main mage user, and have all my characters with good equipment, and mage doram is main main Job because the dps on PVE. also u can heal, ress party members, buff them and de buff the MVP.

S Tier: Saint, Saitama, NoGu, Rath, Taekwon
A and B Tier (close call): DA, LB, Doram
C Tier: DF, SH
D Tier: PD
PD is tier D for dagger , low multiply, no dot so sad
Doraam too powerful in EC use tht root and shark u guys can use tht for ec and ora

@@WobblyWallaby All instances. I also have valk 7/7, but with no +15 weapon. In that case, i do more dmg with My ronin. I used to be a RM, and as ronin also have sink or swin skill, there's a potencial bump in matk with mdef switchs.

As part of the commentary, I mentioned that it's A tier for F2P. I still stand by that. I have a 2 accounts as F2P doram and my friend played doram too. It's great for a party and it can scale pretty well. If you're not F2P or Semi-F2P, then doram is not A tier. I hope that clears it up.
@@WobblyWallaby Sorry, but I simply can't agree with you. Doram used to be great, but with recent updates and new classes, it became completely irrelevant. Especially magic Doram with minimal aa, low tier offensive skill, ufo is completely useless with such a huge animation delay and slow movement, buffs are also irrelevant cos most classes that other people use don't even need them, debuff skills also have very tiny area making them unreliable in instances, whirlpool skill is a joke, pepper bomb is a joke, shark is useful only in a very specific pvp build. And the amount of skill points one needs to waste making a hybrid build is unbearable. This class needs a complete rework. And the worst thing is that devs are using Dorams in all promotional materials, treating them like mascots not useful class.

I actually don't think they can nerf here due to how many people main her. So many people would quit and I dont think it is worth it. The money they make from people buying rune bags via BCC is probably worth it

from the latest cbt log it seems they're nerfing rath for pvp, as it's those flame feather and silence effect from the large aoe from rath, so still good for pve.

@@awkwardsx132Devs need to buff underperforming class. They are releasing harder content over time. The only logical way to make up for it is to buff those classes so they can keep up with the job diversity and also the difficulty instead of nerfing the only class that provides QoL.
