Criminal is a criminal. Saying criminals, a homeless is indirectly promoting all the criminal activities. There are so many odd tasks can be done instead of attacking and snatching. Western people themselves are promoting criminals by saying Homeless and they never take any action even if they attack and kill someone. The problem is police is not taking any action.
Exactly my point . Canada is even worse than US , my uncle who lives in Florida,USA told me about a story about his neighbour , his neighbour was coming from work in his Car at around 1am , he was waiting for on traffic light when he was confronted by a black guy wearing hoodie on his window asking for something, even though he had bad feelings about it he lowered window and asked what happened , the guy said he needs the guy's car keys and everything else he have while pointing glock straight at him , my uncle's friend got scared and said he'll give everything he have so he started emptying his pocket and everything then he said there's cash in car's dashboard so that homeless guy said he'll get it himself and now get out of car , he slowly got out of car while maintaining eye contact with that black man and once that black man entered the car he rushed through the window and snatched gun out of his hands ( it sure was a risky move but he succeeded) the funniest thing is that uncle's friend was not such a good guy to call 911 and let him go away so easily, the black man was stunned and cried that he has family and he nothing to do and what not for few minutes while uncle listened, and .... He shot that homeless guy 3 times , one on head two on chest , . called 911 they came , he was in custody for a while , court case went for 2 months he won the case of self defense lol
I use to do food deliveries at night like every where even to the strangest and trust me it is not safe don't ever go to areas away from city. Try to not do deliveries at night. At day it is a good time till 12 after that it is a whole different level silence which is unsafe.

Even if they are homeless or poor they are criminals and they deserve the punishment , but Canadian law enforcers are so cretinous to punish the criminals.

It's not safe at night doing Uber eats by cycle ( i was using electric scooter). I have a bad experience. I was trying to find the bulding then suddenly one black guy ( maybe he was high, his eyes were red) shouted at me and asked me the time. I didn't response and passed him quickly. He was on cycle too. He actully followed me and said "stop and do not move". To scare him I also shouted and used slangs and quickly ran from there. Guys DO NOT get forzen in these situation. You have to be fast in both thinking and action. DO NOT be too much brave. Just run from there. At the end, they have nothing to lose so it's not worth it.

Alternatively, you could have a concealed safety knife in your arm or pocket. According to the Canadian government, it's advisable to carry a knife that is only a few centimeters long to avoid causing harm. Be proactive and stay aware of your surroundings. This is my opinion, and if someone has a better suggestion, please share it in the comments.
