Another great episode. That Landcruiser is fantastic. When you show all the beautiful shots of the surrounds I can't help but think of those that covered the track on foot/horseback 100+ years ago. What a trek.
It's definitely the easier way to travel compared to being on foot / horseback (not that it's entirely easy though). The wells were originally spaced apart such that they were one day apart, if that gives you any indication of quite how much quicker...
Sounds like a great trip. But when you edit the footage make sure the music is not louder or denser than the talking footage because it makes the music sound far too loud. Otherwise a great video.
Thanks for the feedback. I have been careful in the final editing pass to ensure that the music level is comparable to the voiceover (other than where it's for dramatic effect) but do you reckon it's still a bit too loud overall?
@@DropTableAdventures it's a lot too loud. Everyone's device is different. I still use a laptop and often the sound for TH-cam is not loud enough. So when your video came on I had to jump in and turn it down. Then found I had keep turning it down more. In the end I turned the sound off. If I could separate the music from the voice that would be good. But no it's not possible. Sometimes I think TH-cam turns the music up.
@@ClissaT I had a look, playing my video next to several others and it seemed to be a little louder than some of them, and a little quieter than some, but there was no dramatic difference, certainly nothing that would leave me rushing to turn it down. TH-cam itself is supposed to normalise audio levels between videos - I guess it's not doing that correctly - I'll see what I can do.
@@DropTableAdventures I think it is often simply the density of the music piece chosen. Some music sounds louder than others even though played at the same level. But for a video like yours, something playing gently in the background would be preferable. Well that's my take on it anyway! But despite coming out of the 60s and 70s I'm now in the minority, apparently! 😊 And I say again every device is different and you can't please everyone. All good. 😁
I feel its great that you got your phone back. we left a digital camera on the side of the road once when bushwalking and were fortunate enough to have it returned by another group of bushwalkers. I enjoy your videos. hope to catch you on 40 meters some day 73!!
Was an incredible stroke of luck, and without that phone, there would have been no drone shots after that (well, flying blind anyway) - DJI's software was at the time unable to run on the Pixel 3 or 4. Glad you're enjoying the videos, always good to hear!

looks amazing in 4k60 and the toilet gag was great, nice one Wheels :)
You should see how much better it looks in the original upload... even TH-cam's 4K doesn't show all the quality.
