Sometimes all the pieces fall into place... perfectly. This song and 'All or None' are the two standouts from this show for me. The entire concert is outstanding. One of my favorite 'bootlegs' by far. They were just feelin' it that night. The crowd was a good one and the band feeds off of them and gives it right back ten times more. As someone else said: EPIC!!!
Ever think Boom just looks around like Damnnnnn... especially his early years in the band. Maybe by this point he's used to all the greatness but in some of these early videos he looks like he's standing in awe.

When this sound was written, Layne was alive ... this sound is a tribute to Kurt Cobain, after what happened. But here in this 2003 concert, maybe it could be interpreted for Layne, since he passed away in 2002.
I like how they don’t cross that line of ‘jam-band’…it’s mostly a structured-jam; different from a ‘Free-jam’, which we saw at local Universities, but was it really free?, was it really Pearl Jam!? 🍏it was, it was.
well the album version is on Songsterr.com (great site btw) u can kinda get your bearings there.the original sols pretty easy but McReady did alot of improsing here, plus he has a 12-string
