@cubohedron you do know scooters used to have gears before they all went the CVT route? My question is why motorcycles have not gone that route yet! PS: Scooters are not "literally" CVT motorcycles.
@TheMuser I’m terribly sorry what i meant to say is that present scooters are quite literally CVT motorcycles; the thing with not having proper CVT motorcycles is that motorcycles exist mostly for utility or enthusiastic purposes, a CVT just isn’t fun- On the other hand it seems to make sense for the utility purpose but on a bike where power numbers are Lower than cars, and efficiency is much more sensitive to said power loss, the power/efficiency loss is too great on a scale that small- there are other problems such as carrying heavier loads and such where even Torque is lost in the transmission. There’s also the fact that as engines get more powerful, the physical CVT needs to be stronger to accommodate the strength, and therefore it’ll be heavier and heavier, as the operation of one is different to that of a traditional gearbox. A little extra: Bikes on average travel faster than scooters, and in a CVT, the 2 rotating parts in it spin in the same direction - as compared to a gearbox where the 2 shafts spin opposite to each other - and with a larger power requiring a larger CVT, this would be like strapping 2 giant gyroscopes to your machine, which when spinning fast would be a very weird feeling considering the importance of stability in a motorcycle. This also affects how flick able the bike is :)

Range, charging time and charging stations. If these are not sorted out, EVs won't work
Self charging motorcycle is the best.
Why don't we have CVT motorcycles yet though?
That’s literally what a scooter is 😭😭

@TheMuserefficiency of a cvt is low that's y aerox while using same r15 engine produces 4 bhp less as nd even the mileage will take a hit
@@suryavalluri3894 and yet we have CVT cars, right?

2:25 😂😂😂
We ain't soys for EV😂
Mahindra Formula E ?
Hybrid motor cycle is the solution
