0:12 to think that once this was a logo that meant "quality game ahead, guaranteed" and now it's "This is one of the shallow and soulless games that our marketing team thought would bring us the most money, so here you go. Also we should really start charging you for the privilege of watching our logo.".
The animations were really good in this game, very fluid for it's time. Comparing the shooting in this, to say, GTA or any other 3rd person game at the time and this one blew them all away. The way Bond reacts to aiming his weapon while strafing, still looks fantastic.
The best james bond I ever played, damn it brings back so many memories. This is why I love this channel, just pure nostalgia trips. It also makes me feel old.
I recall reading a feature about this in a magazine (I really miss video game mags haha) and the creators saying the reason they went all out getting the original voice cast, official theme song by Maya (great Bond theme) and all the other stuff was because there was no Bond movie that year and they wanted the game to be the Bond ‘movie’ of the year, instead, and so went the extra mile to get the cast and stars they did.
Everything or Nothing is nostalgia at its finest. I remember the first time I saw the bright yellow Triumph Daytona 600 bike. I was so excited. And the opening music intro... Chef's kiss
Bionicle, a legendary name I haven't heard for over 3000 years. It is still lingering somewhere in the valley of memory. I know I have heard the name, Mata Nui.
bro! Someone is still playing this in 2022?!? I just happen to find this by chance. My friend randomly messaged me all like "WAIT A MINUTE WILLIAM DAFOE WAS IN BEYOND TWO SOULS?" and I was all like "Yeah and he was in a 007 Everything or Nothing" too and I started looking for clips and found you, lmao. You're content is so good!
I wouldn’t sacrifice Die Another Day for anything, but Everything or Nothing is the closest thing we’ve gotten to a fifth Brosnan Bond movie. The fact they got Brosnan himself alongside Judy Dench, John Cleese and Richard Kiel is astounding. Plus Willem Dafoe would’ve made for quite the Bond villain back in the day.
Yes this game was ahead of its time. It was a real Bond 007 adventure. I will always argue this game is one of the precursors to modern 3rd person games such as Uncharted and Gears. It had hand to hand combat, sly stealth, shooting while rappling, driving missions, and all the stuff you see in today's 3rd person games.
I remember this game from my childhood. In 4h grade, my friend and I would come back home from school almost every Friday to play the co-op missions. Those were good times. Love seeing this on the channel!
24:17 I think this is also like fighting Rhino in Spiderman for the PS1, getting him to run into the electricity is so funny to me. I love that game so much.
Growing up I played the James Bond ps2 games all the time and loved them It truly makes me happy seeing someone else play one of the games I loved as a kid
This game is the very definition of underrated. No one played this (at least no one I knew at the time)! As a massive Goldeneye fan, I asked for this for either my Birthday or Christmas one year JUST to have a Bond game to play on PS2 (I wasn't the biggest fan of Agent Under Fire and Nightfire), and I was blown away by how good this game is. I tout this as the second best bond game behind Goldeneye 64 (The World is Not Enough is third), and I consider this good enough to be the 5th Pierce Brosnan film (and better than Die Another Day). The bike down the highway level was one of my favorites.
I absolutly adore this game, and the coop is something else! An entire campaign of brutally difficult split screen mission that have you play as lower ranking agents tackling their own story and even intertwining with the main one! There's a mission near the end that has you helping out bond in the Dam mission if i remember rightly. Granted, I last played this when i was a lad, so safe to say that this was a while back 🤣🤣
Speaking of getting Christopher Walken and Willem Defoe mixed up: Dafoe’s character in this game was the protege of Christopher Walden’s character in A View To A Kill. lol
Back when I was a kid, only had a PC and I wanted a "James Bond game" for my birthday. My dad blew my bday budget buying a Bundle of 3 games including "Nightfire", "Indy Jones and the Emperor's tomb" and "Starwars Battlegrounds (not front)". To say the least, beyond my father actively cheating on my mom at the time, my friendless arse as was disappointed in flippin PC version of Nightfire.
Everything or Nothing and Nightfire are my favorites. EoN is also the final Brosnan Bond "movie," with the full cast. It would be so perfect in live action.
Never played this game, but the way you talked about how difficulty changes the amount of objectives, and what the gunplay and weapon holding looked like... If you've never played them, I'd love to watch you play TimeSplitters 2 and Future Perfect. They were in that PS2/Xbox/GameCube era and were excellently done as far as atmosphere/vibe. They were also a blast just playing through challenge modes and going for gold on everything. Things like shooting flying monkies, zombie zerg rushes that you have to survive, etc.
New drinking game, drink a whole bottle of buckfast when micky d says "this is be best interpretation of the bond theme" (I do agree though, it is the best)
Lol I love the constant sprinting and never using cover. I played this game all the time as a kid and absolutely loved it. I dont think I beat it either
I remember doing the base jump mission at least 100 times cause it was badass. That and the absailing mission... and the motorbike Jaws chase... Fuck so many good memories! Great nostalgia tickler :)
A Very good game the driving missions were so memorable and the sig 556 was my favorite gun the porche cayanne came out around that time and this game made me want one
I remember playing the yellow motorcycle level where you chase Jaws over and over again when I was a kid cuz it was so fun and wanting a sport bike as a result. Now I own a sport bike 🤔
Got some good memories of this game. Just beat it again the other day. Now I'm playing though From Russia With Love for at least the 3rd time. Classics.
The GameCube version lagged with groups of enemies and with the mission briefings. It took running the GameCube disc on the Wii to reduce the lagging. No kidding.
I used to just play the first missions over and over because it scared me as a kid lol. When my friend came over we'd do coop for hours, it was awesome
Agent Under Fire will be a fun one, not necessarily for the gameplay - but because they seemingly didn't have the facial rights for Brosnan and as a result he looks more like Sterling Archer than Bond.
His face there IS a licensed image, it's just based on mostly obscure British actor Andrew Bicknell instead of anyone who played Bond in films. It's weird because the voice actor is the same one they used for games with Brosnan's face. Really AUF is amazing for being as good as it was when it was made in only 8 months or so, but it's still a game made in only a few months.
I would love to see agent underfire. As well at some point. It was the first fps i played splitscreen vs my uncle. It was super fun then and I would love to see you play it as well
This whole channel is just slowly but surely playing every game from my childhood
Now I feel old, thanks.
Hey I was gonna say that
Legends has it that one day he Will have played throuh all our chillhoods..and then he Will rest
Micky d is copying the modern day game developer money suckle: Nostalgia
Same here only if he did play Morrowind too

2003, I couldn't believe it. This is fantastic..
I remember playing the co-op missions with my brother back in the day. We struggled with them, but they were fun!
I liked how you could throw pillows at the enemies on the first co-op mission
I played them with my cousin but we could never get through the first set in Egypt
@@KegOfMeat Yeah my buddy and I struggled REAL hard with the first one. I don't remember if we ever got past it.
I played it with my friend too. Good memories.
yeah same with me and my friend remember being stuck on the missions forever
This is the earliest I've ever been to a Remington Steele video
The best james bond I ever played, damn it brings back so many memories. This is why I love this channel, just pure nostalgia trips. It also makes me feel old.
The best Bond, the best M, and one of the best Bond themes. Quality choice, Mickey!
The worst M you mean
You're right, the graphics are pretty insane for a PS2 game. And that vocal cast...wow!

This game had crispy graphics for its time, good controls and great level design. Definitely brings back memories seeing it again!
The motorbike driving mission at the start is seared into my brain as the best driving gameplay ever
And the New Orleans mission
Bionicle, a legendary name I haven't heard for over 3000 years. It is still lingering somewhere in the valley of memory. I know I have heard the name, Mata Nui.
What's cool about this game is that it is essentially Brosnan's 5th Bond outing.

I grew up on Agent Under Fire, Nightfire, From Russia with Love, and Everything or Nothing. So psyched to watch your playthroughs
I literally made some of my first suit choices based off of Bond's from this game and all worked 100%
I would do the exact same. I want a tan suit just like James later in the game
@@MickyD Also the blue undershirt with gold tie and gret jacket/pants. Oh man, even to this day the pairing doesn't fail.
@@MickyD My man, buy one, or surf thrift stores to put one together, you will not be sorry lol
@@MickyD your right this is the best bond game, I still have this game since I got around 2005. Just subscribed to your channel.
@@MickyD i cant stop replaying the intro and watching the menus and seeing the demo levels of the skyscraperscaling and the freeway chase in level!
the editing in this episode is fantastic! like it's always good but i actually laughed multiple times
I totally forgot how much i love this game. this gets a visual overhaul and it'll be like Christmas to me. although honestly it still kind of holds up

Idk how old you are. I'm 25, and all these games from this, to DBZ Bt3, and Prisoner of Azkaban. You're hitting my nostalgia real hard
24:17 I think this is also like fighting Rhino in Spiderman for the PS1, getting him to run into the electricity is so funny to me. I love that game so much.
"She combined Coke and Mentos" also know as "Cutting Edge Nano-Technology"... Truly a danger to society.

These hand to hand animations are amazing. Bond disarming someone while they are shooting is sick

"Why didn't they just give me a grenade though?" People will pick up a coin. A grenade? Not so much. lol Fantastic game. Runs flawlessly on Dolphin.

Oh man I still have this game for Gamecube, such a great game!
I've been so excited for this series!
Editing was great. Love the game. I hyped for this series.
Bond is wearing like 10 ballistic vests in this.
Remember that game Black, with the guns?
Some of these Bond games remind me of that, probably cause of all the industrial/harbor levels.
Agent Under Fire will be a fun one, not necessarily for the gameplay - but because they seemingly didn't have the facial rights for Brosnan and as a result he looks more like Sterling Archer than Bond.
