Am from the Netherlands and this organs do still play on the streets. I love it but at the same time it has something sad and melancholiek. It does remeber me when times were difficult and hard in the fifty's.
It sounds vaguely like something that would play in the background of a run down/ post apocolyptic theme park, consider Series of unfortunate events, the netflix adaption for grey washed and film aesthetics and then couple that with the Movies IT and Silent Hill in theme.

This honestly would not be as hard as one would think. You just need to separate the Midi channels then output it to some kinda burner or something to zap holes in the paper to match the Midi file
Now a days this is a cake wake walk (the analog music arrangement sheet) . But to think in the damn 1900's that someone came up with the idea of a MIDI keyboard essentially, that's what makes it so special

Imagine seeing this magnificent craft 100 year ago, must have been one of the most magical experience ever. Imagine all of the mesmerized face, all the excitement and wonders. Its sad because these people don’t exist anymore, sad because this organ became ordinary.
It makes me sad for the original owner and audience of this wonderful organ, who enjoyed it just as much as we probably are now, yet have passed on just as we will.

Imagine: if this organ had been in subpar shape, how much would a restoration cost? For size comparison, look at the nearby doorway. Let's also factor in that that's likely real gold leaf. What about the electrical? Every one of those lights is lighting up 100 years later. Clearly, it has been shown a lot of love in its 100+ years of existence. I thought I was good at taking care of my stuff, but this is on a whole new level... outstanding!!!

The one you go to when you cant be bothered to go to six flags. the one thats been open since the mid 60s. and has a probably safe wooden roller coaster. and cheap food. and still uses the ticket system. paved brick roads. cotton candy. broken arcade machines. rigged carnival games. entire closed buildings that were once funhouses but now stand as storage. and then they have the old bumper cars thats been somehow kept updated. and everyone having a good time. someone nearly throwing up on the tilt-a-whirl. the old frame from the original ferris wheel which stands as a monument in the center.

In addition, these organs were not powered electrically, but by manpower. An organ grinder had to turn the wheel. Even to drive the bellows that provide the compressed air to be blown through the organ pipes. A hard job and if he wasn't turning the organ wheel there was no music. Also keep in mind that even in the early 1950's electronic music was still played with 78 rpm records. These could not possibly match the quality of these organs. It was only when the Americans (in 1945) discovered the German tape recorders, which were superior to what was known at the time, that the quality of recording and reproduction techniques began to improve greatly and these machines were gradually replaced at fairgrounds by electronic reproduction via loudspeakers. As a contemporary fairground operator, I naturally use loudspeakers and modern techniques on my fairground attraction. But my grandfather had a Limonaire (French) organ, which an organ grinder had to turn all the time. Even before the war, my grandfather placed an electric motor on the organ. At the outbreak of the war the organ ended up in a barn on a farm. When the war was over, the organ turned out to be completely destroyed, eaten by rats and mice. My grandfather could no longer bring himself to repair the enormous damage, born in 1888, his career was almost over. He then played the mediocre 78 rpm records on his fairground attraction at the end of his career. My uncle, the son of, must have had a Hooghuys (Belgian) organ. Both organ types, Limonaire and Hooghuys, were widely used at fairs in Belgium.
