oh yeah he has SKYROCKETED up the rankings. Just saw Wheeler raised him from 54 to 22, Pronman from NR to 15, and Mckeens from 58 to 12!!
The thing is Solberg has this skill where he seems to take every step ups pretty easy, and he makes smart choices for himself. He had the oppertunety to go to Sweden last year, but decided to stay in Norway after his friend Gabriel Koch told about his bad experience going to early and comming back to Vålerenga. Vålerenga was the perfect place to stay last year where he got to play grown up hockey without being stressed and being alowed to make some mistakes here and there, why much more Norwegian talents should probably stay a few years more cus here they will get the oppertunety to play wich is worth a ton more cus of the experience you get. EHL is not a top leauge but the 3-4 top club is pretty deccent and playoff experience for a national cup win in your home team with an audience who kind of demand great result(Vålerenga is the most winning icehockey club in all Europe) is worth a lot more then what he would have gotten in SHL/Allsvenskan.
As a Red Wings fan Sikberg's skating, carrying the puck through the neutral zone and hit anticipation greatly remind me of Seider. It is all in the strong base, and it took a lot of opponents to learn making a run at Moritz usually ended up picking themself up from the ice as Moritz would know they were coming and give them that shoulder into next week hit.
A good team like CAR, DAL, or NYR could take a chance on Solberg in the late first round, what will it hurt?
As a Norwegian that watched all their games in the championship he was the best norwegian player in the tournament better than Zuccarello and Brandsegg Nygaard very talented hockey player
He's going top 20 no doubt about that. Such a fun player to watch!
