I was lucky enough to be stationed there before all the horrible things happened. I was even able to participate in these events, and there was such a different atmosphere between the Americans, the Okinawa people, and Japan. So beautiful, I truly miss it.

Ippee niffeedebiru. domo arigatoo. This video and everything posted on the youtube of Okinawa is great. All of us miss our relatives and friends from Yonaguni and Ishigaki Island to northern town of Yanbaru. We participated in Annual Eisa Fest and twice for Uchinaanchu Taikai. We now live in the USA. I listen to Okinawan music everyday and it brings many fond memories and certainly makes us home sick when we watch your video. Thank you everyone for posting and sharing.
