Love your reactions. Came here for Ren, never thought I'd give Tom McDonald a listen, but here we are, and I'm crying at my desk on a Friday afternoon. I'm sick of the fighting and hate.
I'm a huge Ren AND Tom fan. They both are awsome!
@@kp5136 I'd have never listened to Tom if it hadn't been for Ren. I had pre-judged Tom based on things others have said about him, and listening to Ren has shifted my perspective over the recent months. I still beleive in all of the same ideals, but I see other people differently, and I'm far more apt to see the things that we have in common rather than what divides us. Tom will never see it, but I had to apologize to him for judging before I even gave him a chance.
Ironically enough, I only listened to him for the first time ever hours before he dropped this song. I was watching Beats Bars and Delivery's reaction of the full Sick Boi album in which he mentions the Dotta/Ren battle which prompted me to go watch his reactions to that, and the amazing resolution that Ren brought to that "battle" simultaneously left me in the space of wanting to see more rap battles and in actually watching the reactions to the first one that popped up in my feed, which was a 4 year old massacre of Mac Lethal, which I previously would never have watched because of Tom. That was super impressive, and in the hours that I watched reactions to that, Tom dropped this song, and so when I finally decided to go to his page for the first time, this was less than an hour old...and it really moved me.
I never fully understood music bringing us together beyond the concept of just people enjoying music together, but...I get it now.

We all need to support eachother. I hate that there is so many outside entities trying to divide us in every single way. Ridiculous. I’m 46. We did not have all these issues when I was going to school and living my best life with all my friends of all kinds of colors and backgrounds. If I didn’t like somebody, it was because they were an ass. Lol people need to realize it’s OK to disagree but you can do it respectfully everyone has their own opinions. And never judge a book by its cover because deep down, you never know what’s going on in somebody’s life what’s going on in yours. I started doing a thing where I live by strangers all the time, and I give him a compliment about anything. Beautiful smile I love your hair. That color looks great with your eyes. Just anything. But the smile people get on their face is priceless. I personally don’t care what people think about me. I’m pretty secure and who I am and I think I’m a pretty awesome person. If somebody doesn’t like me that’s on him it’s not gonna bother me. I hate that social medias, but such pressure on everyone to act like that lives are perfect and it’s all bullshit. None of us have everything under control. None of us know everything that’s going on that’s why it’s important for us all to talk. We all need to come together. Otherwise we’re all going to be in some serious crap with everything going on in this world. We’re creating first world problems. Being a victim was never called being a Víctor was.
@@michellefarley7319 So true. I'm a year behind you, so same generation. People didn't try to intentionally trigger other people or hurt them, nor did people run around making politics their personality and hating others just because of a different opinion. Not to the degree we do on social media. I love so many of the things that social media has made possible (like independent artists making a come-up and connecting people who have similar ideas but need collective efforts to flesh them out). But I hate that it has made us so judgemental of each other.
