I actually like the guitars on this. I think they're punchy but not so over-the-top as to be like Disturbed or something. Great combination of voices on a solid composition though. As for guitar production, Amplitube is a great way to go nowadays...

The 3 best singers ever are: Jimi, Lars Safsund, and Steve P. Just my humble opinion. If you like this you will love Work of Art. It's like Toto, Journey and Survivor at the next level. The song writing is even better. Robert Saul is a monster! Plays any instrument.
Check out the Jimi Jamison live at Firefest DVD from 2010. I promise you, he can still pull off a full show. Kimball on the other hand, I really doubt it. Saw him with Toto 2 times around 99-2000. They had an extra singer doing the highnotes. Really sad to see. Maybe he just had some problems with his voice at the time, maybe he just can´t do the job live anymore. I don´t know, but I wouldn´t bet on his voice lasting for a full show anymore.

Great to find this production. Sounds good, except 2000's harsh, sterile metal stereo guitar tracks doesn't sound right in this music genre. Just listen Lukather, Huff, Landau's old stuff. Thats it what the guitar sounds should be.
