@Scamerism First, wood bats are not required to be BBCOR certified. But if you decide to go with wood, bamboo is one of the strongest woods out there. Second, if you do go with a BBCOR metal bat, one of the perks to that is the metal bats have 1 yr warranties, where very few wood bats offer any warranty. Which of the BBCOR metal bats were you considering? How tall and what weight are you? Power hitter or contact hitter? We can help you narrow down your search.

@Scamerism To be perfectly honest, at this level of play it is really nice to have options. For under your $150 limit, we easily put you into one of each. The Mizuno Bamboo and an Easton Rival BBCOR, one piece all alloy. Like I said before there are positives to both.

I am currently playing at high school league. I am a sophomore, 15 yo, 5' 3" and weigh 120 (tiny but all muscles). I am more of a contact hitter. My budget is somewhere below $150. Also I have a few more questions. Is wood or BBCOR metal better in your opinion? Also are there any requirements for wood bats at high school league? I am slightly leaning toward mizuno wood bamboo bat but I am not sure if it is good because I do not know much about wood bats.

the toughness is great and all but to be honest I wish you would have shown perhaps how well it hits baseballs, as a player myself it doesn't mean much to me that it can jack up a truck, but jack baseballs is more important. I have tried every bat I can think of, Marucci, Slugger, Sam bat, good wood, Rawlings, and something is just wrong with every one of em. Seeing that this rather bland looking bat is more $ than any of em, before I buy I was hoping to see it in action. Oh well, it's okay I'm sure I will.

Should I buy a BBCOR metal bat or should I buy a BBCOR wood bat? If I do buy a wood BBCOR, should I get maple or bamboo?
Randy Yin Let me start saying I don’t work for just bats and try to answer your question. It all depends what’s allowed in the league you are playing. Now if you are asking which one has more pop, the answer is metal composite. Which one is more durable? Wood composite. Lmk if you have more specific questions and I hope this helps

Can i use a AAA buam bat at batting cages against rubber balls.
As tough as Baum Bats are, they can break down with time. If you take one into the cage with rubber balls every now and then, you'll be fine. However, I would not recommend that being the primary use for this bat.
