- I used the Korg CM-300 contact mic to capture the sound of a HDD and a Dymo LetraTag and really enjoyed the sounds I captured.
Whilst editing the files I was imagining visuals to go with them, so today I tried my best to get something to fit the sound.

I bought CM-300 last week and am very happy about it. I've tried this one on everything possible in my apartment :). For the money it costs, it's really worth it. Thanks for the video!
Brilliant, it is a really handy mic to have. I enjoy how it makes me think about sounds around us differently. Thanks for the comment👍
The most expensive component of this is the imagination needed to spark creativity. It looks like you have invested wisely in that area :)
Thank you very much 😁
I read that this microphone expects a very high impedance of the amplifier (around 1 MΩ), and most recorders have much lower impedance (thousands KΩ). How does it work with things like Zoom H1n and a mobile phone audio jack?
Hi Andy.Thank's for introducing us this microphone.I have no experience with this type of microphones.Very interesting!!Thanks for sharing✌
It's such a handy microphone to have, and for the cost it's a bargain. 👍
Awesome!
Thank you, very kind👍
I keep meaning to pick one of these up. As you say they're super cheap so no reason why not. I love "unheard" sounds, that's why my LOM Geofon is my favourite to mess with.
I've found it really good, not sure if it can take on the Geofon though, would love to get one of them in the future. Thanks for your comment 👍
@@AndyGregor Geofon is great, but as with all these things the Korg produces a slightly different sound, and that's what it's all about. Nobody can say one sound is better than the other. THey're all sounds of some sort.
It’s a lot of fun for a tenner £ 👍
It certainly is, thanks for the comment 👍
