Will most likely get acquired.
By Microsoft
Or lawfared into oblivion.
Maybe, but it is not that good yet and there is the situation with Wired
Perplexity: Weaknesses of Perplexity AI: Speed and Accuracy.
Lex: I don't know if that is accurate.
:D
The difficulty of the response to deliver a value add to the information request is quite difficult. Just look at Microsoft's automated help desk. It is quite frustrating when you get a plethora of suggestions that are so irrelevant to the issue you request support for. This might be a great practice arena to learn how to train multiple responses to queries because many, if not all, of the queries in the support arena can not interpret the knowledge of the person making the query. What is the shortest query statement that can decipher a person's depth of desired information return? Hhmmm... I guess we already know where that goes..
He speaks like Elon Musk, anyone noticed?
If you want to do search, well, just do search. Seems that Perplexity is search with an AI label
Anyone who beats googles ability to use a pointer to an index value deserves the Ai power they wield programming something that google already has a third of the algorithm for.
I found myself using chat gpt
I use Perplexity daily. The experience can’t be beat.
Those pictures from the other comments😂
That's because TH-cam is managed by sleepy Joe
No, Perplexity is unlikely to beat Google unless it changes its name to a two-syllable word that's easy to remember and type. The average person might struggle to remember or spell "Perplexity" correctly. Even I had a hard time typing it in and ended up cutting and pasting the name into this comment.
Call it Perple
Perprexerlity
Ever heard of Nvidia? 😅
@@a.hardin620 Yeah and I can never spell it right without autocorrect. Fortunately GTX 4090 and CUDA are easy to spell.
Anyone who has actually used perplexity knows the answer to this question. Overhyped platform. There is substantial opportunity for an outsider player.
Why aren't the possibly the outsider?
I just used it because of this video and I don't think you could be more wrong. It was able to get to a point where the data is was repeating was found to be false and changed its answer. What other platform do you know that does this for this to be overhyped?
A better question is, "can Google beat anyone?"
The stock just hit an all time high, but I get the feeling you mean something else.
@@_____case And yet they continue to shutdown google products daily.
