  • I had these pickups on Strandberg Boden Classic 7, and it sounds another level after I swapped it over to this Juggernaut HT7P.
It just meant to be on Misha’s signature model.
FYI, Djent is just a palm mute

Have you try BKP aftermath? What do you think the rags compare to aftermath?

I do have both, but they are not on the same guitar so can't compare🤞🏼

If I remember it correctly, somewhere around 3.2mm while the last fret fretted. No longer have this guitar with me.

@@robertreboya4080 To be honest, that was me back when I was a noob rule follower, these days I have realized there's no rule of it, and been training myself adjust it to taste. I know it's what we all been hearing throughout the internet, but it's freedom.
The tip for you is to start with the pickups at really low height, use clean amp or even just DI signal and start raising it till it sounds good to you (generally anywhere except for clipping, but if you like the clipping sound, nothing wrong, some people do that)
In brief, no, all my guitars have their own suitable settings.

@@robertreboya4080 to add up, use ears as the guide to balance bass side and treble side. You can use any VU meter or digital meter to reference your loudness level, but keep in mind, low strings tend to be louder in the meter. Again, no rules, trust your ears

It could be, but technically Misha mentioned it as the "aggressive" palm mute
