This man is unbelievable. His attention to detail is so amazing he makes high-quality eyes, belts, chains and even little parts of HAIR I have to say he captured the original spirit of Jotaro very well. I just am speechless.

I love how you have a different way of making muscles for each character you sculpt. For Kratos and his big yet realistic muscles you bulked it out and then carved out the shapes, for Goku and his abnormally large muscles you added them one by one, and for Jotaro's more simplistic cartoony abs you carved them out right away. Good job, Garuda. You're one of the most talented individuals I've had the pleasure of watching.

Actually most figures are not hand made, in fact barely any figures are hand made even if they are advertised as one (sellers are lying simply). They 3D print it nowadays or just use forms to copy first one made by hand and then replicated they just paint it by hand. They have more specialised and expensive materials and tools if they are hand made but as you said those are damn expensive.

did you watch the video at all? most 3D sculptors like myself can make pretty good works but are stick figure level for drawing because weve never practiced it and it takes a lot of time to learn to draw which is why many dont bother
Yeah aguse are right. The inverse can be aplicated too, if you draw well sculpt will be easier for you. Obviously, those two are two different forms of art that use differente tools and materials, normally, so it one still need a rlly lot of practice.

this guy even made him more realistic, last time i remember, the shoulder widths in Jo Jo are massive, in this sculp his shoulders are proportional, not even broad.

did you watch the video at all? most 3D sculptors like myself can make pretty good works but are stick figure level for drawing because weve never practiced it and it takes a lot of time to learn to draw which is why many dont bother

Yeah aguse are right. The inverse can be aplicated too, if you draw well sculpt will be easier for you. Obviously, those two are two different forms of art that use differente tools and materials, normally, so it one still need a rlly lot of practice.

this is helping me begin to realize that im not a bad sculptor, i can follow and understand everything thats happening, but i NEVER plan, use guidelines, reference, or usually armatures, which leads to a piece looking bad or weird. i have the ability to sculpt something like this, but i lack the poise and care shown in this video. i feel like i actually understand how to improve now, just by watching this
